Ojisan Puffy- Japanese Cheesecake & Coffee

Listen… if you haven’t had Ojisan’s Japanese cheesecake, you’re truly playing yourself. This isn’t your heavy, knock-you-out kind of cheesecake—this is light, fluffy, and straight-up dreamy. I got mine topped with pistachio and lotus, and baby… chef’s kiss. It was giving elegance on a plate. Meanwhile, my husband had his with ruby (yes, that bougie berry chocolate) and strawberry, and it was straight-up romance in cheesecake form. I had to try his too and baby let me tell you...HEAVEN!! To wash it down, we grabbed the strawberry matcha and the peach lemonade—and let me tell you, these drinks weren’t just cute, they were delicious. The matcha had that earthy kick balanced with sweet strawberry, and the peach lemonade? Refreshing like a summer read on a front porch swing. And the atmosphere? Baby, the vibe was giving date night. Cozy, cute, and just the right amount of chic. You come here with your boo, and suddenly y’all feel like the main characters in a K-drama. Bottom line: Ojisan is serving softness, flavor, and a little bit of luxury in every bite. Consider me obsessed.

10/02/25: Picked up 2 cheesecakes(one strawberry topping, one lotus topping[like peanut buttery taste]) and 3 macarons. Macarons were pretty good, no complaints there, esp that lemon one they had. Cheesecake on the other hand... well, its very light and fluffy for a cheesecake, but it doesn't quite hit that "cheesecake" twang that I'm used to having. It also doesn't have any crust. That red strawberry color sure LOOKS rich, and it does carry the cheesecake a lot in my opinion. Personally I'd rate the cheesecake a 3* out of 5* for me, but overall rate it 4* if I'm rating it unbiasedly. Its not "bad" or anything, just not intense enough for me. Didn't like the lotus flavor at all, but that's on me(though they didn't have raspberry which would have been better).

The place was a 10/10. Amazing cheescake amazing refreshers amazing coffee amazing staff!!!! Wisam and mona Alqaterani in particular. Wisam even gave us a glimpse of japan with every bite we took, like in this picture where he is posed with the japanese umbrella. Such a cutie lol. They were so kind and friendly and something about monas smile just made me want to come back again and again. She just lights up the room. Well enough about the amazing/goodlooking staff. The desserts are AMAZING definitely a must try

Convenient location. Adorable inside and very clean. The young lady who took our order and made the drinks was very friendly and helpful. We had a pistachio latte and pumpkin spice latte and both were very flavorful and strong.

This place didn’t disappoint at all. I was craving for Japanese cheesecake and this was the perfect place for it. The small size cakes are quite huge actually. I had to struggle to finish. The cheese just melts in your mouth. The sugar level is perfect. I loved this. We had ordered with three different toppings - Pistachio, strawberry and white chocolate. What lovely ambience. Loved the place overall.

The deco was on point! The dessert was ok! I didn’t enjoy the lotus on the Japanese cheesecake maybe a different topping would have been better! The mango truffle was definitely made from pulp and not real mangoes so it was too sweet for me! The blue cloud drink was too sugary as well!

finally made it here and the place didn't disappoint, very clean/ inviting establishment. I ordered 4 Japanese cheesecakes with 4 flavors on the side. I'm not big on sweet food was playing it safe, but I ended up loving how the cakes and flavors sugar levels were just perfect. The cheesecakes are huge and fluffy , they melt in your mouth, the richness and flavors start to work and take you in the clouds. I sample many bakeries around the area and Ojisan set its own separate standards which separate it from the rest. The chef threw in some smoothie with mangoes free, that added to the experience. the cheesecakes are massive, two can easily share one.
