We ordered lunch and the check was priced as dinner. It was not worth the taste. I was really looking forward to visiting this place as we drove an hour and a half but I probably wont come back. Maybe the other dishes are better?
Atmosphere was perfect. Food was authentic. Playing K-POP over the speakers. It was a baller night. Pro tip: mix a shot of soju with a glass of Korean or Japanese beer 👌
Food Presentation: A+ Taste: B- Service: B- (slow for a Tuesday night) I dined here with a friend for dinner, and as a big fan of Korean food—especially Bulgogi and Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab—I was excited to try this place. I've visited various Korean restaurants in different cities, and they are usually packed with flavor. Unfortunately, I found the food here to be too bland for my taste. That said, the presentation was top-notch. The dishes were beautifully plated, making it feel like a fine dining experience. Everything, including the side dishes, looked fresh and well-prepared. However, the service was slower than expected, especially considering it was a Tuesday night with only a few other diners. Our meal took over two hours, and we didn’t even get dessert. The pricing also felt steep for the quality. I’ve had the same entrées at an Asian restaurant in Newport for half the price—and with much better flavor. It seemed like I was paying more for the presentation than the taste. Others might enjoy the food more than I did, but personally, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Korean food at its finest! Great from the time you enter all the way through leaving. Food was so fresh and wonderfully tasty. My mouth is watering now thinking about the leftovers in the fridge. Very reasonably priced and generous portions. Liked the nibbles we got waiting for our appetizers. Can't wait to go back again. Did I say excellent wait staff who knew their food items and what was in the dishes.
Very cool atmosphere and coming from the food industry be a little more attentive quicker. The bulgogi was just okay but the kimchi chi gae was really good. Portion size on the bulgogi was small and never charge customers extra for rice. And when Asian customers sit down automatically put Chopsticks in front of them. Have different types of kimchi in the banchan and not black beans, broccoli, potato. Dukbokki was good but next time do it without ramen noodles. Let's keep it authentic and not try to americanize it
Beautiful restaurant! Ambiance seems lovely. Staff were working really hard to stay on top of things, but it did take a long time to pick up my take out order. We ordered the bulgogi and bibimbap. Super disappointed in how bland the bibimbap came out. It seems there’s literally no seasoning at all on most of the ingredients, except for the hot sauce you’re given to put on top. Chicken was dry and flavorless… as was the spinach, bean sprouts, and overcooked egg. At least I know it was healthy! 😅 Bulgogi was considerably better, but could have still used a little more flavor.
Me, my mother, and brother had a fantastic lunch here. The vibe is excellent for a relaxing and enjoyable time to share with loved ones. The food was delicious and quick. Our server, Murphy, did such an excellent job offering selections and providing generous knowledge and enthusiasm. I will absolutely come back again!
