Nice Thai Cuisine

Honestly I know all five stars might seem a bit excessive but the place was awesome. You can see photos of everything I ordered here. I was happy with every single dish. Portion sizes were more than generous especially for the price, Thai tea was not too sweet which is something I really appreciate, and all the staff was very nice The spice levels were well defined. I ordered hot for a couple of the dishes and it was the perfect amount. These are the kind of restaurants we need to support and help thrive. You can tell they take pride in their food. Highly highly recommend.

It was a dark and foggy night, I barely survived my google map directions. It seemed that all was lost, smokey despair filled the cabin of my 18 wheeler as I slowly approached NICE THAI CUISINE. Honestly I can't remember what I ordered but I remember fabulous flavors, piping hot reaching down coating your insides with spice. I chose from the authentic Thai side of the menu and I was overwhelmed with with the two kinds of noodles, the chicken thigh, and coconut sauce base. Everything about this meal screamed authenticity and humble northern Thailand origins. My hostess was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and commanded authority. I would indeed have desert.......she was correct. I was provided with the most bestest Mango & Sticky Rice. A subtle sweetness that soothed the blistering heat of my main course (I ordered the very hot, whatever that means). The physical environment is worth noting. Everything is clean-clean-jelly-bean. Some classic Thai decor cannot be avoided and adds to the international flair of this restaurant and indeed the entire strip mall would do well to emulate them. I've had a lot of Thai food over the centuries and this is by far the most bestest. Thank you for reading - ALL TRUE ALL TRUE NOT THE SAME-SAME!!!

I just moved to VA and have been craving real, authentic Thai food — and Nice Thai Cuisine did not disappoint. This place is going to be lit for us. We ordered the Som Tum Pla Ra, Yum Woosen, and of course the Tom Yum Soup — and everything was absolutely delicious. The Som Tum Pla Ra had that perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory flavors, bold and truly authentic. The Yum Woosen was fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of heat. And the Tom Yum Soup was rich, aromatic, and so comforting — exactly what I’ve been missing. We were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures 😭 but that just tells you how good it was! We’ll definitely be back next week. Our server was very nice, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for real Thai flavors in VA, this is the spot. 🌶️

I had a great experience at this Nice Thai restaurant! The food was delicious and authentic – just like home. I especially loved the Pad See Ew and Mango Sticky Rice The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for real Thai flavors in the U.S., this place is definitely worth a try! Highly recommend! 🌶️🍜

OUTSTANDING experience!!! I had a group of friends come here and we were all blown away at how delicious everything was. The pad Thai was to die for, and the iced Thai tea was PERFECT. We got spring roles, crab rangoons, and vegetable dumplings as appetizers and they were all so tasty. Service was also fantastic, all the employees are so friendly and kind. I will be dreaming about that Thai iced tea, that's the best Thai tea I've ever had. I can't wait to come back and try all their other dishes!

Pretty decent place for Thai food. If you can handle spices, I recommend ordering the spicier option. I find that the dishes are more on the mild side but taste great once I add more chili. The drunken noodles can use some more noodles, but the meat & vegetable ratio was decent. The pad Thai is good, best out of all Thai restaurants I've tried in the VB-Norfolk area because it balances the umami flavor & sweet tangy taste of the tamarind sauce well. It looks like they also have great lunch combos!

The waiter that greeted us was so sweet and we were sat very quickly. The food was fenomenal and I highly recommend their curry. The curry is brought out in a big bowl with rice on the side and you dish out whatever portions are best for you. My brother order the crab delight appetizer and enjoyed it a lot. We ended the meal with the sweet treat mango sticky rice and both loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for delicious Thai food.
