Szechuan Mansion Hotpot _ Charlotte

I’ve been coming to Szechuan Mansion Hotpot since their opening day and have already visited more than five times. The food is consistently amazing, and this has quickly become my favorite hot pot place in the area. My must-order items are the tender beef slices, the brown sugar sticky rice cake, and especially the shredded potato slices — you only need to swish them in the broth for a few seconds and they come out perfect. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying. The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly, and every visit has been a great experience. Highly recommend Szechuan Mansion Hotpot to anyone who loves authentic, delicious hot pot!

It was amazing! Our server Johnny was very polite and provided great service. We got the chicken broth and the beef tallow broth. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. They had lots of options for meat and it was all delicious! So glad to have this in Charlotte.Thank you!

We had an amazing first-time hot pot experience at Szechuan Mansion Hotpot! We ordered the combo A Yin Yang pot — one broth was rich and flavorful, and the other had the perfect spicy kick. Such a fun and interactive dining experience, and we’re so glad we checked out this local spot in the Arboretum. Our server Bianca was incredibly sweet and took the time to walk us through everything, which made the experience even better. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and inviting — I love the greenery and decor. We’ll definitely be back!

Highly highly recommend!! Everything is delicious & fresh. The staff is amazing as well. We got the beef tallow mini spice broth with the herbal chicken broth for our broth options. The fried chicken for appetizer, kungfu tripe and shrimp balls for our meat and added on the squid. The mushroom platter and spam fried rice. We added on the fried buns as well. This is sooooo good! They explain everything so well 😁. The sauce bar with recipes is such a nice touch! The specialty drinks - Thai Tea and Lemonade soooooo tasty & refreshing!

Tonight my family and I experienced one of the most exquisite meals at a hot pot restaurant, and I’m still thinking about it. It’s such a unique dining experience — you choose your vegetables, meats, and broths, then cook everything right at the table. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the broth rich and flavorful, and the endless combinations made every bite different and exciting. The presentation was stunning, and the aroma that filled the room? It would knock your socks right off. Warm, savory, comforting — the kind of smell that pulls you in before you even sit down. Not only was it delicious, but the whole process made dinner interactive and fun. Sharing, cooking together, comparing flavor pairings… such a cool idea and a perfect family night out. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience that engages all the senses, I highly recommend trying hot pot at least once. It’s unlike anything else!

Had a great experience at Szechuan Mansion House. The service from PO was outstanding, he was constantly checking on us, refilling our water, clearing plates promptly, and helping with bringing dishes out. Very attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and comfortable. The hot pot is very authentic and flavorful, exactly what you’d hope for, and everything tasted fresh. The fried rice was especially impressive — perfectly separated grains, fragrant, and full of wok flavor. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, excellent food, great service, and a place I’d happily come back to.

This is the best hotpot restaurant I have been to in the US. Their food including the condiments is of super high quality. Soup base of the hotpot has the right level of spicyness. The dining hall is well decorated, reaching a balance between privacy and openness. During the end of October, there were some Halloween elements. I will definitely come back to this place again.
