Seoul Poke Bowl - Now, TORA EXPRESS

This is my go-to Poke Bowl spot for sure. Whenever I am in the southern area, I make sure to stop by and grab me a bowl. They are located in a shopping plaza that is on the smaller side, so parking can definitely be tight. They offer a variety of different signature poke bowls as well as their build your own bowl. I usually go for the build your own with two proteins, and they also offer a generous amount of toppings at no extra cost unless you go for the premium toppings. The employees are always super nice and helpful. They work fast and efficiently their ingredients always taste fresh, and I have yet to have a "bad" bowl. He inside is decorated, nice and modern. It's a bit small inside but a few tables to choose from as well as a bar. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and get a craving for poke bowls.

Stopped here for lunch and decided to eat in. I went with the Surf and Turf bowl and decided to try the spicy crab poppers. Everything was amazing! The cilantro lime sauce pairs great with the poppers. (Excuse the half eaten bowl. I was pretty hungry.)

I stopped in on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. The food is amazing. I wasn’t sure I was gonna like it, but the items on the menu seemed very enticing. I got shrimp, crab meat, I started with a salad base, I have carrots, kimchi, and some type of peas. I forgot what it’s called, but the eel sauce is amazing like I love this so much! I will definitely be returning; the staff was very pleasant and accommodating because I was not sure what I wanted. I took a little extra time, but she was very sweet. That atmosphere is very relaxing somewhere to go. If you want to read a book, do some work as it is very quiet.

We enjoyed trying something new. I like the concept of this place! I didn't personally choose the best combination (to no one's fault but my own) so the texture was ...different. The overall taste was good, though! The inside was cute. The staff was friendly. I'd eat there again if we were from around here! The mango tea was also really good!

Bean sprouts looked pretty rough, and I was only given three toppings/mix-ins instead of four. I also didn’t realize "crab meat" meant a tiny scoop of imitation strands, not real crab. Food was good but I like getting what I paid for, and the 96.5 sanitation score was a little unnerving. The employee made it clear she’d rather be somewhere else.

I was really excited to try their Musabi I drove a half an hour to get it… That’s where the excitement ends. First thing let’s talk about the construction of the musabi like who put them together a toddler? I could take the sloppy way they made it if they were at all tasty! Very subpar quality the rice bland and then they threw them in a plastic bag like they were trash…. I didn’t taste their bowls so I can’t really say much about them. So disappointing

What an amazing experience trying this fusion of Korean-Hawaiian food. All the bowls from chicken to crab were really fresh and had unique flavours.
