Kolapasi Indian Canteen is such a gem! The staff were incredibly friendly and patient — they even let me sample different dishes until I found my perfect combo. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the service made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

The "taste before you buy" option was a game-changer—it made choosing our meals feel thoughtful and exciting, not rushed or random. Every bite was packed with flavor and care. I went with the Shrimp Chukka paired with Lemon Rice, and my mom chose the Herbal Chicken with Butter Rice. Both dishes were beautifully cooked, seasoned to perfection, and served with a warmth that matched the atmosphere. The shrimp had just the right kick, and the herbal chicken was tender and aromatic. It’s rare to find a place that combines variety, quality, and hospitality so effortlessly. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

Really great Indian food, I have been wanting to try this place for months and finally had the opportunity to try it. The food is incredible, they help you decide what would be a delicious combo based on spice level, and you can sample anything in the restaurant. The service was amazing and the ambience felt very welcoming

It was a satisfying experience with great mix of flavors..Biryani rice paired with Eggplant roast and Chengezi paneer was well spiced and absolutely delicious..Rasam rice was little bland and just okay..Sambar rice with Nilgiri Chicken was aromatic and comforting..Parotta was soft, flaky and perfect for scooping the curries..my favorite was the extraordinary Goat Roast which was flavorful and cooked perfectly..coming to desserts..the Tender Coconut payasam was superb..Mango Bread Halwa was awesome..Pumpkin Halwa was average..Overall it was a great meal!!!!

Had a long layover at CLT and did not want to suffer lounge food. Found this gem hardly 15 mins from the airport and couldn't be more happy! Loved that you get to taste the food before ordering, and every dish I ordered was supreme! Topping all that is the courteous and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

A fun and casual spot that strikes the perfect balance between quality, flavor, convenience, and value. The format of Kolapasi is really unique and the taste before you buy model works really well with so many dishes available. Don't sleep on the flaky bread!

First I must say that I am used to the dine in Indian food like the restaurant called Saffron…so this was a definite shocker for me. The food was excellent, delicious and the only problem was it was a child’s portion but the price didn’t match the portion sizes… I got butter chicken that had more sauce ratio to chicken (4 tiny chunks) and cashew chicken…portion wasn’t bad. Total sticker shock for me. So I’m on the fence about this place. Ooh and you got to pay for the bread separately, and it’s not naan. Yes I’m sadly disappointed and still hungry. Buyer beware if you are looking for a bang for your buck. Delicious food but you can’t share with anyone else.
