We have been coming here since they first opened, and the owner is very kind! Every time we stop by, he comes out to check on us and ask how everything is. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is always friendly. Everyone should definitely give them a try! They also offer special weekend menus—be sure to check them out on Facebook.
We got the pandan and ube mochi donuts, and they were delicious. They make the donuts fresh when you order and the texture is so perfectly chewy. The glazes weren't too sweet and the crushed peanuts on top added a nice savory element. I also appreciate that they checked if we were allergic to peanuts when we ordered. We were just visiting Charlotte, but if we were local, we would absolutely come by more often and try their other drinks and menu items.
👉 The inside is nice. The teen workers took way too long to greet customers as they held their own conversation. The prices are wrong on the main menu listed on the wall behind the register area. They weren't sure what price went with which meals. They have two different prices for cash and for credit card usage. The Korean beef short rib was tasty and was cut thin, as in sliced thin. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was expecting, I was expecting more meat. It only came with white rice, kimchi, tomatoes, and cucumber. There was nothing to dip the tomatoes and cucumber in. Overall the meal wasn't bad but wasn't the best that I've had.
Overall a great spot! A friend recommended this place to me for an after work dinner and I was pleasantly surprised! The combination pho was really good, a well balanced rich clear broth with great toppings, personally I wished there was more tendon in the pho but not everyone wants or likes tendon so I understand. The portion size was reflected in the price so I didn't feel cheated. My boba milk tea has the right amount of sweetness without having to ask. I will definitely be back to try some of the homemade desserts since I was too full to try them this time but they were visually tempting as I walked into the restaurant and out of it.
Always a great experience when we stop in. Tonight I ordered the weekend special, banh cahn. It was so amazing with the perfect ratio of broth, noodles and protein!
The food here was beyond delicious! The kimchi fries are to die for. Atmosphere inside is nice, although I got take out. They were very busy when I got there, I do wish they had a spot for pickup orders because I had to wait in line behind people placing their orders when mine was sitting on the shelf. The service was fast though, so I wasn't too upset. I forgot my bubble tea and didn't realize until I was down the street, I turned back and they made it for me immediately which was nice. It is a little pricey (order directly from their website or call in for best prices, DONT ORDER THIRD PARTY!!) but it was soooo worth it!
This quaint Vietnamese "mom-and-pop" restaurant brings authentic Vietnamese food that delivers tons of flavor and will make you a life time customer. This restaurant imports its rice directly from Vietnam and the pho is a 10/10! The decor is welcoming and comforting.
