My Three Sons Diner has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on over 417 reviews on Google
Cool restaurant with good food! If you sit in the back of the dining room, you can watch the employees cook your food. French toast and home fries were both delicious. The sausage gravy was also delightful (plenty of sausage!) and flavorful. The biscuits were disappointing as they were burnt on the outside, but I was able to eat around it. Eggs (ordered over medium) were cooked inconsistently. Bacon was also very tasty and nice and crisp without being burnt. The service was really wonderful! Friendly greeting, kind waitress who was thoughtful and attentive and everyone thanked us on our way out. It was great. Atmosphere had a lot of perks. Lots of interesting and local wall decor and comfortable booths and tables. We went in on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t too crowded, so we were able to enjoy conversations at our table. I would recommend this restaurant!
Very warm welcome when entering, self seating, comfortable setting. Counter seating where you can watch the food being made. Staff all very friendly. Restaurant is clean and neat. Food was hot and fresh. Home fries had a great taste and were cooked perfectly. Had a great menu with specials and seasonal options. The Apple Cider donut French toast was fantastically fluffy and delicious.
The food was delicious! Waitstaff and owner very nice. Enjoyed the whole experience! But I would like to make a suggestion: would you please add a decal for the Coast Guard and Brockton Firefighters if possible! I have a Coast Guard family and know some of the firefighters! I have seen coast guard signs or decals of the Coast Guard just lately! I think people may generally forget them because they feel that being in the Coast Guard is not a dangerous job! But they do a lot that is dangerous! I could tell you lots of dangerous things that my family members did! But I won’t! Lol! Great restaurant! ❤️
Had an unfortunate experience from a diner that I love(d) and is very close to my house. I typically order from there and had no problems, sometimes they mess up but I dealt with it. Today, however, they must have been short staffed. I called twice and it went to voicemail. I called a 3rd time and finally answered and took my order and repeated it to me clearly. When I went to pick it up, it wasn't quite ready yet so I waited as they packaged it. When I got it I decided to check because I've come home to a wrong order before. When I noticed it was wrong I told the woman at the window that it was incorrect and she looked very distraught about it. I said "Is it ok to make it again? I can't eat this." She said "it's going to take 10 minutes, can you swing around? I have a line behind you (1 car)." I said "That's fine, thank you!" I paid as well and left a generous tip for the inconvenience. When I came back around, the tone all changed. I waited and she came back and said "He's going to charge you for another one." I said "It's not what I ordered though". She then began to irrately argue with me that yes it was and that I changed my mind last minute. I informed her that it was, in fact, not what I ordered and this has happened before. I also was confused as to why her and 2 other women were arguing with me about what I did or did not ordered (like they all heard it). They close the window and I wait, another woman then comes and says: "Are we done here?!" I said "No, I didn't even get the drink I ordered." She yells " I wasn't done with your order! Before you decided to change your mind!" I said "Wow, way to argue with a customer". I then just asked for a refund, which was met with further confusion (shocking, I know). Listen, I understand the pressure of being busy, but this was such a crazy reaction to something that happens all the time in the restaurant business. Handling dietary restrictions and basic customer service should be priority #1. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. I will not be returning or recommending this diner ever again.
Food was excellent, good portions and fair prices.
Walked in Saturday around 12:00 for breakfast , only a few people There . The food was served really fast and It was really good! But 60 seconds before the food arrived with no obvious mess to clean! some girl started roughly sweeping a filthy rug 10 ft from the table . It's common sense this is disrespectful anywhere in the world. Then she doubled down on the disrespect picked up the dirty rug and let it slam 12 inches right behind the seat. I kindly addressed her about the cloud of dust now floating over the food, but she had this Evil look on her face so I left it alone. Customer Etiquette and proper Cleaning retraining might help or Might Not She Knows What she Did Check the Camera The Real waitress Amy handle the situation Very professionally and very nicely Thank you. ~ Amy is Friendly & Respectful
Ok so Jo's best Diner is under new ownership so its a good time for a review. As you would expect alot of rookie mistakes but some potential. First, my friends eggs were a perfect medium which she enjoyed. My pancakes were light and fluffy. The Chorizo was tasty but slightly overcooked. The bacon looked perfectly cooked but lacked flavor. Good homefries. The cheese grits need alot of help. You can see how thick it is in my photo but it also lacks flavor. Should be creamier and much better seasoned. The food can be fixed but the most disappointing part was the service. We got our coffee, the food took a while but to be fair they did have a massive order ahead of us so I can forgive the wait, but the waitress never came back to see if we needed more coffee. I had to go to the counter CUPS IN HAND to request the OTHER waitress to get us coffee. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO DO THIS. THIS IS COMPLETELY EMBARRASSING!!! We felt like we should tip the other waitress. The other thing was that it was more pricey than what you would expect. I like the fact that they have a chat option on Google MAPS so you can chat with the owner and ask questions. Jo's was around for a long time and I hope the new ownership has similar success but they got alot of issues to work out. 3 stars for now, but they can definitely do it better.
