The Tasty Yolk

I LOVE this place. The Fatone breakfast burrito is the best breakfast burrito by far in the area - and I am a breakfast burrito enthusiast and expert. It's toasty and salted (the salt really elevates it) and even though I'm not a fried egg fan, I actually really love the fried egg in this burrito. The green hot sauce takes it above and beyond, so make sure to order that on the side. I like to chase a Sound Coffee latte with a burrito from Tasty Yolk. Together, those two make for PERFECT Black Rock morning fare. There is no better way to spend a morning. Food travels well, too, which is huge, though I do like to sit at the bar and chow down on my burrito because God forbid I wait more than 2 seconds to indulge, I love it THAT much!

Tasty is hands-down the finest breakfast spot on the planet…and their lunch offerings are equally outstanding! Every dish is crafted with genuine love, using the very best locally sourced ingredients assembled with pure magic. Over the years, I’ve tried countless specials, and without exception, each one has been an absolute delight. The team’s ability to maintain such extraordinary quality and consistency at their impressive pace is nothing short of astonishing and deeply admirable. They wholeheartedly deserve every bit of the well-earned growth and success they’ve achieved. You truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—it’s all phenomenal! Text in your order to whichever location for the fastest service (they are very responsive!)

"Found" this place while having some time to kill waiting for an appointment. Just outstanding! Folks behind the counter were friendly and accommodating and the food was insanely good. I'm glad I don't live too close by...wallet would be thinner and I would not be..Don't hesitate to check it out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our freshly made breakfast sandwiches and cucumber lemonade nestled in the front window counter-top-nook while listening to upbeat, club tunes. The egg was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of moisture and piles of crispy bacon. Driving through Connecticut this was a choice local spot for grabbing a quality meal.

This place knows how to make a great breakfast sandwich. Love that you can customize how you want the eggs cooked. I will definitely continue to go back! Also love that they have a vegan sausage sandwich option!

A unique breakfast spot with satellite booths all over town. They have fantastic varied options. Sometimes the service is cold, probably due to the staff being busy. I would recommend to anyone, just be sure to ask for the eggs to be cooked to preference!
