Kimchipapi Korndogs & Pon De Joy

We ordered the potato dog with just cheese and the regular dog with cheese half/half. The flavoring was pretty good, however, the batter was a bit too thick for me. The regular dog was pretty good overall/ the cheese pill was really nice and it was crispy. The potato dog was slightly disappointing—instead of the typical potato cubes you find on potato dogs this felt like stale fries stuck on very, very thick batter kind of making it feel like we were biting into thick bland bread. For some reason the cheese pull also wasn’t as nice as the cheese dispersed inside into a thin coat around the inner tube. I’ve had their mochi donuts though and they’re great!

The matcha mochi donut was delicious! Beautiful texture, not oily at all, had the perfect level of sweetness. Gorgeously iced. We recommend the regular corn dogs without the fries- the plain batter has better crisp! All delicious- and very, very Instagram-worthy food.

This place is better then mochi donuts down the street inside gon cha it less oily here.

Updated review after months! This is still for the corndog only. I had to potato k-corndog half half option. The size is underwhelming, smaller than typical other k-corndog locations I've been to. The cheese is completely melted which is great, but I could still taste that the breading was undercooked. The good thing is that the potatoes were very crunchy which I appreciate. I believe it was around 6.96 for one, and I don't think it's worth it given its size.

While this location doesn’t have corn dogs anymore, their kimchipapi kitchen location down the street does! The batter is not too thick, and it’s perfectly crispy! Delicious 👍🏻

I have to say the hot dogs are great. But I am even more impressed by the staff. Awesome service. And I know is fast food, but the short interaction still matters in my opinion. The place is a 10/10 for me.

I bought some donuts and he told me the total was $25. I gave my credit card and i noticed later that he charged me $5.50 tip without my approval. THIEVES!!!!!! I will never go back!!!!
