We grabbed two sandwiches and went to the nearby hidden park up the street (fantastic place to sit and eat - Temple Street Park). There was no seating available on the patio at CRCC. All-in-all, we enjoyed our food for the most part. The sandwiches were very fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the #3 (Fried Chicken) and my wife enjoyed her #4 (turkey). The sides were just okay, not very fresh (we got one of each). There is a selection of cheeses, sauces, and drinks. A bit of a smorgasbord of options. We paid $38 (including one iced tea and tip). I know we're in Boston, but even that seemed a lot, especially considering it was not sit down and had no place to go right there. Probably wouldn't go back and would try another of the many options in the area, but the sandwiches were fresh and tasty.

First time trying this spot! Needed some dinner while working the evening shift. I got Italian Sandwich SPLIT in half. And a side of Bacon & chive potato salad. Also extra pickles on sub and a peach ice tea drink. The sub bread tasted fresh and the bread wasn't soggy. A perfect amount of wine sauce and the tomatoes, lettuce and were fresh tasting also. They give you a great amount of meat pretty hefty! Great tasting Italian sub the potato salad was good as well! Will try again when working the evening shift for dinner very satisfied with the quality and the taste of the food!

Finding this place was a wonderful Boston miracle. My girlfriend and I were walking along Cambridge Street towards the Old North Church when we were transfixed by the eerie edifice of the New England Telephone and Telegraph building. As we marveled at the woo-woo spookiness of the place, my gaze was tugged over to ... the Crane River Cheese Club. My girl has a deep appreciation for cheese. (Okay, it's not just her. But I idly follow the fromages, while she leads.) When I nudged her attention over to this shop and saw her response, I knew we had no other choice but to cross over and explore this detour. Boy, did we make the right decision. Almost immediately, I knew that we'd both need to keep our wits and wallets about us. The selections at this place were startlingly desirable. Carnivore Candy jerky? Golden pumpkin hot sauce?! Chocolate stout... mustard??! ALLIGATOR TENDERLOIN?!?! WHAT. IS. THIS. PLACE. Every one item that we selected was a choice against six other suddenly hotly-needed items. AGONY Eventually, we settled fretfully on a charcuterie tray (killer jam-and-cheese combo, and the best salami(?) I've ever had), a fried chicken sandwich (aioli and bacon made it sing), a can of Betty Buzz ginger beer (which I can only describe as "medicinal" [in a marvelous way]), and a (dreadfully incomplete) collection of sauces and spices. It was then that the shop clerk dropped the news that the guy that we helped at the door had snuck back in while we were trapped in our fits of anguished shopping, and conspired with her to pay our bill. I... I mean. Words fail. Mr. G., we thank you with profound joy. We are both deeply touched and humbled by your kind generosity. Everything we've sampled so far was spectacular, and the unopened jars waiting on the shelves are all radiating tempting speculations. So, yeah. Thank you. Thank you so very much. Also (and on a silly, pseudo-cosmic note): thanks to the li'l tan rabbit in the nearby grasses. Yes, we spotted you, and we half-jokingly expect that you were somehow magically responsible for slowing us down just long enough to have had this experience. We'll be sending you a bushel of carrots in our dreams.

A cheese shop with a very, very small selection of cheese (None of them being soft!). They have korean chicken wings on display before they have prosciutto available, and there is more beer and wine on the shelves than anything else. Also paid $20 with tip for what was probably the most poorly constructed salad of my life with what was the equivalent of Walmart brand italian dressing and cubed ham. I can't speak to their sandwiches, but I am heavily disappointed.

I've eaten here a few times now... honestly one of the best sandwich experiences I've had. This place is worth driving at least an hour to come visit. The intricacy and complexity of the sandwiches, mixed with the obvious sense of how fresh and clean each ingredient is... This place is so under-rated. My guess is in no time, this place will have a 30 min wait out the door. Roast beef and Smoked peach salami are a must try. Get there and try it before then!

Stumbled across this place after strolling around Beacon hill. We weren’t super hungry but the pictures of the sandwiches on the menu made us reconsider. We ate an excellent Turkey sandwich and a delicious potato salad. It was so good that we forgot to take a picture for the review. Will most definitely come back for another sandwich!

This is a multi purpose store. The sandwiches are excellent. I personally like the Bison Meatball Sub the best. They also have reasonable coffee, espresso and capacino. They also sell cheese, frozen specialty meats, wine and beer. For me the most important aspect is the main "shop" item on their web site. The selection is somewhat limited, but they have really high quality products that can be delivered to you. I rely on them for much of my high quality groceries. I love this small shop.
