Great customer service and great food if you like sushi. I didn't see a habachi area. So, if you're looking for that, don't come. However, if you just want good food do come. My favorite thing was the Monkey Brain which was a fried stuffed avocado which was delicious!
Amazing place! Me and my husband discovered this place last weekend while the snow storm was happening. Was the only thing open and we discovered a gem. Great atmosphere, kind service, and delicious food. A lot of options for sushi lovers and also plenty of delicious non sushi options. Great drinks as well. Will definitely be returning often 🙂
7/8/25: We stopped here on our way home to Florida for lunch. 1. Daughter likes the salmon roll. 2. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the "Something Went Wrong #2" roll and learned my lesson never to do that ever again. There was spicy tuna in the roll and it was not any normal spicy tuna I have seen. It's very pasty and I did not like the taste or texture of the so called "spicy tuna" here. And the sauce they drizzled all over the roll reminded me of Chinese stir fry sauce which ruined my mood and appetite. Lesson learned: I should stick to a roll I am more familiar with. 3. Ginger salad dressing is high on the sodium level, not the citrusy tangy ginger dressing I used to have in Florida and Texas. 4. Fried rice - now that I really like. I like the type of rice grain used and the flavor of this fried rice. 5. Stir fry Udon noodle is a dish I order for my daughter at every Japanese restaurant I go to. I wish they didn't coat the fried tofu heavily with a layer of cornstarch. The udon noodles are just too starchy. My kids do not like stir fry udon noodles here.
Definitely recommend! Service was quick and accurate. Miso soup was very flavorful and the ginger dressing was fresh. Yaki Udon was amazing (ordered the tofu). Eel portion on the nigiri was massive. The Boston baked roll was also fantastic. Portions were very generous. Owner was very friendly and has been an 18 year staple in the community. Good atmosphere, great music. Easy to give 5 stars!
Katie is a doll!! She has taken such good care of my guests and I since day one. Always smiling. Always excited to see us. The food hits all the points. Delicious, great portions and value! The lunch bento boxes are an amazing way to try so much of their menu! Personally though, I’m a big fan of the shrimp teriyaki and the yummy yummy roll!!! You won’t be disappointed visiting!
wonderful customer service, with fresh sushi and they are quite big pieces of rollssss VERY MUCH SO WORTH PRICE
It was my husbands birthday and our first visit to the Boardwalk in Bossier. We were skeptical about trying Sushiko as all of our Sushi experiences since moving to East Texas have been complete disappointments… Well, Sushiko is now our FAVORITE PLACE for Sushi and we do not mind driving over an hour to get there! The atmosphere was great and Katie our server was absolutely amazing! She was very polite, professional, thorough and took the time to be kind and overall friendly to me, my husband and our 7 year old son. We never once had to ask for refills, napkins or condiments as she was very attentive. Katie also made sure my son’s chicken and noodles were made perfectly for his taste and to his liking as she mentioned that she also had two boys of her own and they liked there noodles the same way. The sushi was very fresh and super delicious! We’ve finally found our sushi place and plan on returning soon. Thank you, Katie and Sushiko for a great birthday meal and dining experience! 10/10 recommended! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
