Dog Day Coffee

Short visit to Austin. Researched places with nitro cold brew and found Dog Day. Amazing 20oz house nitro cold brew with the perfect amount of a super tasty vanilla cold foam. They bring in pastries, had the best apple danish ever! Perfect balance of background music, coffee being made and relaxing in your own mind. I had some other places to check out, but decided I wanted this again.

Dog Day Coffee has been quite the life saver for me since it opened. Good quality coffee, convinent, good people and great pets! They have plenty of great coffee options to choose from, and even fresh baked goods. Good place to get some work done, or to catch up with friends. It's always fun to run into different dogs here, so make sure you bring your pup! My dog even started to stop outside their door on our walks now 😂 Hey, they have free dog treats and pup cups, and he knows it 🐶☕️

Not only does Dog Day Coffee nail the basics (fantastic latte and Cubano), but they also have some of the most unique nitro drinks in Austin! The Dirty Earl is an absolute must-try. Fantastic service and atmosphere. You can tell these guys love coffee and want to service the community!

Bright, fun coffee shop with dog theme and decorations. They have many tables in a spacious single room with an island bar in the middle. The coffee and tea drink recipes are great, and the staff are always friendly. Dogs are encouraged and welcomed. They share a free parking garage with other businesses in the same building.

First time at this coffee shop. Ordered four iced Matcha to go and when it came down to sit down and sip with my friends at home, it had no sugar. Looked bad in front of my peers. The whole purpose of stopping by here was for the nice gesture. Defeated the whole purpose. Dealed with a very unpleasant evening. Everyone left their iced matcha full. What a waste. Dog Day has the best cold brew in Austin, no debate. The Morning Ralph is my go to. Its the perfect blend of a slightly sweet Thai Tea with nitro cold brew. You can't really go wrong with any of their varieties. They also have a variety of gluten free pastries and breakfast tacos. Their cinnamon rolls are very good and pair perfectly with their house or barrel aged cold brew. You can even bring a growler and take your favorite home with you.

A warm, welcoming spot that still invokes the coziness of a locally owned coffee shop while quite spacious - everyone is welcome here. Drinks are consistent and delicious and pastry options are aplenty (bonus points for having GF goods). It's obvious Mark and Erika put a lot of heart, care and expertise into making this place the best that it can be and customers are happy and regular!
