We visited Aba on a Saturday morning to try their brunch menu. We ordered the short ribs shakshuka, blackberry drop biscuits, khachapuri, and wild mushroom hummus. The service was slow at first and it was difficult to get our waitress's attention, which is why I'm giving it four stars. The portion sizes were decent overall. The standout dish was definitely the wild mushroom hummus- the flavor was incredible and I highly recommend it. The khachapuri was good, though the bread could have been a bit fluffier. I would return, but it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way for. Still, I'd recommend giving it a try.

I used to visit Aba in Chicago and it was one of my all-time favorite spots, so I was very excited to try the Austin location. And let me tell you… it did not disappoint! Aba has a great wine selection, excellent cocktails, and the food is absolutely delicious. The ambience is beautiful, modern, and warm perfect for a date night, dinner with friends, or a nice celebration. Reservations are highly recommended (just like in Chicago). But if you have to wait, the patio and bar area are super pleasant, you can relax with a drink and enjoy the vibe while your table gets ready. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and everything was outstanding: • Crispy Short Rib Hummus – a must-order! • Whipped Feta – creamy and so flavorful • Shawarma Spiced Prime Skirt • Lamb & Beef Kefta • Grilled Halloumi We were 3 adults (2 men and 1 woman), and this was the perfect amount of food. We all left happy and satisfied; and again, no room for dessert! Service was friendly and attentive both times I visited. Aba is definitely a must-try in Austin.

Aba is a beautiful restaurant with a modern and quaint vibe. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and we chose to sit outside. It was very cozy and the temperature was perfect. It was a great spot to relax and enjoy the evening. The service was very friendly and attentive. We only had drinks and dessert. The menu is somewhat pricey. The frozen yogurt was light and refreshing. The pistachio panna cotta was interesting both the panna cotta and the orange topping were good on their own, but together the combination didn’t quite work for me. Paid parking was difficult to find but this was a lovely spot with great ambiance.

Best spot in town for mediterranean food with top notch service. The food was so fresh and delicious with perfect spice blend and texture. One of the best mediterranean food i have ever had in the states and couldn’t recommend this place more. Their service was excellent just how you’d want (not too slow, not too fast) and they have a ton of space to get you seated both indoor and outdoors with beautiful ambience. Must try restaurant in Austin. The lamb and beef kefta kebab was super good with high quality meat and perfect blend of spices, chilled cucumbers and garlic hummus were also very good. And the sticky date cake was a perfect pick for dessert. They have a very good cocktail menu as well.

I went to aba and was ecstatic to go. I reserved a table about 2 weeks in advance for a Saturday night. I counted down the days in my calendar but was disappointed and my pockets have been a lot lighter than usual. To start I got the Whipped Feta with bread. The flavor was extremely strong but not in a good way. I winced and smiled through the pain. This also ran me 16 bucks but I think I would’ve preferred a 2 dollar hummus and chips from the great value section from the mart. As much as I didn’t want to eat it I dug deep and ate it trying to convince myself it was good. For the main course we got the Heirloom Chicken Thighs and The Beef and Lamb Kefta. The Heirloom Chicken Thighs was actually just crispy chicken with a lackluster sauce and huge peppers, squash, and onions. Not cute at all and really doesn’t add much to this dish besides nasty breath and making the food worse. This was the first time I had butternut squash and my god it will be the last unless someone forces it in my mouth against my will. The beef and lamb kefta was pretty disappointing. I’ve had better at street side gyro carts where I can’t even understand the guy taking my order. Lastly the bill… this ran me about 80 bucks including tip and I don’t think I’d pay above 35 bucks for all this. Overrated but a nice place. Would recommend grabbing someone off the street to take over as head chef. Lastly the water could’ve been colder. If you want an easy way to split the bill then use BillBoss AI on the app store !

Went there for my wife's birthday, had a great time. It was pretty impossible to get a reservation for dinner. But somehow we got in. The food, service, ambiance & decor was on point. As expected, we had 4 in the group, so it was a very snug fit and if you're sharing different appetizers on a cramped little table, it gets very interesting. Service was great, wait for the food was pretty fast, especially for a fully booked restaurant, with a lot happening, price for the food was fair, not over the top but certainly not cheap. Overall experience was great, will be back next time if the reservation allows for a decent time.

Aba had been on our list of restaurants we wanted to visit and were finally able to get in this time around. The wait was worth it. The food is amazing!! Great choice of cocktails and I'm pretty sure we ordered one of everything on the menu. The haloumi and fish were favorites from the main menu and the cake and frozen yogurt from the dessert. Pro tip, reservations on Sundays sure easier to get. Lots of street parking available. Courtyard is beautiful.. I suggest sitting out there.
