Barnes & Noble

Clean store, but customer service was pretty minimal. I asked about 2 books and was given general directions. Couldn't find one of the books, and there was a cart of books nearby, so it may have been there. Cashiers seemed pretty lost on greeting customers in line.

The Barnes and Noble bookstore in West Des Moines is a fabulous place to find great children's books. The staff at the store was very helpful and patient with us answering our questions and giving suggestions for other books similar to the ones we were looking for. We went looking for 3 books and left with 5. We will be back for more books to purchase.

The Clive Barnes&Nobles is one of the best ones I have been to so far! With 2 stories, escalators and an elevator this place is very ADA friendly even has a ramp to get to the Star Bucks Café. There is a little bit of everything, OK a whole lot of everything for everyone. If you haven't been to this location yet, What are you waiting for? The staff there is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Go check it out!

I thought my new nook was dead and gone. We took it to the store to see if anything could be done to restore its function. Phillip was absolutely great at helping me out. Because of his knowledge I have a fully restored tablet. He was so helpful, kind, and patient. A great employee. He made me love this store even more.

Charging double MSRP for TCG products is unbelievable. It's bad enough all the third party scalpers driving up prices now we have to watch mega corporations get in on the scalping too. Pathetic.

Love the store however I just left and the girl that checked me out was a total snot. I understand people have bad days but I too work in customer service and if I treated people that poorly I would've been fired.

We went here to exchange some books my son received as gifts. He was able to find some suitable replacements. The register attendant was nice enough to let us use the membership discount of the person who originally purchased the gift we were exchanging which was a plus! I was a little bit bummed that the section in the store containing games was downsized and removed. There is a game section for kids upstairs, but the section with adult board games had been removed. We will likely shop here again for books in the future.
