I was very excited to see this location open. Nice roomy coffee shop. HUGE selection of material for your enjoyment!! I was somewhat intimidated by the layout but found each section area intimate and felt cozy and relaxing.

I love this place! Me and the kiddos love coming here. Such a nice environment, great staff, love the coffee shop when you wanna sit and enjoy. They even have little chairs in the middle. They have everything. Great spot!

Excellent selection of books. Although I kept finding a copy of Brave New World in random sections. The Cafe area is spectacular to sit and study in! Went back the other day. Still a wonderful and dangerous (to my wallet) place to walk around in. Not only will you find books, but a great selection of fun gifts and decor. I picked up a few items for Christmas for a variety of ages that I'm sure they will enjoy!

Didn't appreciate being lied to by an employee saying that they didn't have the Valentine's tote bag in stock only for it to be behind the counter on hold for someone who called ahead. It's limited stock with only two available, it shouldn't be allowed to be on hold for people. Its completely unfair.

😔 Hate to be that person, but the few times that I’ve been here, I had a horrible experience way too many times already, and I wasn’t going to leave a review, but it’s a little out of hand. The books area was great, except for being unable to find a book they had in stock. But the horrible experiences I really had were at the café. First experience was the cafe was out of vanilla and only had 4 options. I had asked for a half sweet drink, girl gave me 4 options. Great, no problem. I’ll just take it unsweetened, then she told me to get the caramel so I caved and said sure. Anyways, I was charged $1.25 for a syrup I never wanted originally and probably shouldn’t have been charged because they were out of the one I wanted to begin with. If this happens PLEASE let your customers know that they will be uncharged. I had no idea that my $7 drink was going to be $9 for about 1-2 pumps of flavor. 🫠🫠🫠 My second bad experience at the cafe: the cashiers seems so uninterested and were just talking to themselves. I was called up and then they had a conversation of their own while I stood there with my husband waiting to order. 😅 For at least a good minute. Then they called my name up and there was a gentleman standing in the way where drinks are picked up talking to one of the cafe employees (not sure if they were dating or friends but they were there for a good while) but I couldn’t get my drink because of the gentleman standing there. I’m not sure what the standards are here but I expected better. If it’s a place that expects of their employees to socialize among themselves instead of attending to guests then by all means you’re hitting the nail on the head. Again, I expected way better from B&N, especially coming from somewhere that has amazing cafes and customer service in B&N Houston. Probably won’t be returning, I went to Books-A-Million and had a way better experience there overall. To add: none of times was I greeted with a "hello, welcome, greetings". Just a grim "What can I get for you" 😔 Super uninviting.

Everyone is saying how the staff is so friendly and everything is so well laid out. I went into the store yesterday for my first time and I wasn't greeted by any of the staff and there were plenty of them walking around. Also there wasn't much variety visible. It seems to me that it is just a "popular" spot. Not a serious bookstore. Their stores used to be so much better than this.
