We booked and paid for a luggage locker during our stopover in Washington, specifically to be able to enjoy the city hands-free. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the locker location was closed. They work with a third-party locker service via an app, but the opening hours had not been properly communicated to the app. Both the app and online information on maps indicated that the location was open, which turned out not to be the case. We spent a significant amount of time getting there, only to find a closed door. As a result, we had to carry our luggage with us all day while exploring Washington. This had a clear negative impact on our experience and limited what we could comfortably do during the stopover. Had we known this in advance, we would have chosen a different solution. Mistakes happen, but accurate and up-to-date information is essential when services are outsourced to third parties. In this case, that coordination was lacking, and it directly affected our trip.

Absolutely love Reiter’s Books! Their authentic Ethiopian food is incredibly flavorful and comforting! Highly recommend! Sofia is very kind!

The photo guy is rude and provides a bad photo service. The cafe people are nice

I bought a few books from their 5$ sale and it’s inside a cafe. The cafe had really good vegetarian food. I’ve read half the books pictured and they were very good books

Small bookstore with an Ethiopian coffee shop. I actually came to grab a quick bite while waiting for my passport next door. Ordered the vegetarian selection. Super good Ethiopian food. Highly highly recommended. The coffee shop was constantly busy, but can’t speak to the coffee.

The store runs scam on your credit card. I used my cc for the passport photo, but after few days my credit card start showing transaction pointing to SQ Reiter’s Books. Seems like they pray of immigrants who are getting passport photo done first time and by using their credit card its been copied or stolen. So be aware of this place for using your credit card for transaction.

I found the staff very knowledgeable and pleasant. The store is a little small compared to the big name brand places but this gave it a more "homey" kind of feeling. It felt very comfortable to just wander and browse and not feel rushed. The cafe is superb! Their coffee drinks were very well made. It felt like everyone knew each other. Very cool place! I will definitely be coming back.
