Customer Reviews
OP Comics & Games has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 690 reviews on Google
This is an amazing store and has everything you could want. All of the staff were very willing to help and very knowledgeable. Merritt especially was so nice. We had our two young kids with us and she gave them a free poster and card sleeves. We’ll be coming back for sure because of her. She’s a treasure.
Holy mark up. This shop has so many singles and I can see why. I would recommend looking up prices before buying here and getting charged almost double of market. The "gentleman" who helped me also gave me some attitude when I didn't want to buy the cards anymore. Their comic selection is cool and they have a good selection of packs which is why I won't give them a one or no star review but wouldn't come back to this shop.
Cool store with lots going on but staff were cold verging on rude and they all just seemed stressed…Maybe I caught them on a bad day? Pokemon was market price + hefty margin, and that’s semi-understandable, but some cards were very overpriced and the staff wouldn’t negotiate prices even after showing them market value was 1/2 what was stickered…Then I tried to trade in cards for store credit and was unbelievably lowballed. 50% for direct trade is absolute garbage! You can charge high if you pay high, but miss me with that crap if you charge high and pay low…overall bad experience but rad store and it’s only 1 night so 2 stars…I guess
Wow I'm impressed this place is always stuck pretty good they always have nightly games. The other night we went we are on our way through Santa Rosa and went ahead and stopped at the comic book store the place was locked like it was closed and it was Beyond store hours. But since they had a game going and some event they went ahead and opened the door for us I was so surprised in order to purchase stuff and head home. Thanks guys job well done five stars.
This has to be my favorite card shop! It’s very well organized and the employees are extremely welcoming, bought some Chinese packs and graded cards (5.5) 😀
If you're coming over to play games upstairs and go to events, this place is honestly great and I love being part of the community. So why the 2 star review? Key word: pricing. This is a store that absolutely upcharges for their Pokemon products and especially their singles, and anyone who didn't know any better wouldn't give the prices a 2nd glance. For example, I wanted to get a couple of singles and noticed that a card that goes for a single dollar inthe current market was priced at 4 dollars. I asked if the store was willing to budge on the price and the employee refused to do so. Once again, place is great for actually playing games but I would strongly advise against actually buying cards from this shop.
Outerplanes has a huge staffing problem that makes this place not welcoming in the slightest. I have already had issues in the past, with one employee telling my wife that he could teach her magic better then I could, and saying to give him a chance. She refuses to go back and I dont blame her, disgusting behavior. I went in for prerelease of lowryn. There was two people staffing the front desk, a girl and I guy. The guy was new and frankly he knew more then the girl did. Guy came in to buy his kid the draft night box. Girl said that she didnt even know what that was and instead should buy Jumpstart. I told him that Jumpstart isn't lowrn at all, its a different set and that he could buy bundle box instead depending on how many kids were gonna do the draft. He then asked the chick how many packs are needed for draft, she has no idea. He asked how many packs in a bundle or a play box, again she is clueless, instead she's STILL trying to sell a Jumpstart box instead. I was in just for a play box and a prerelease kit, which they didnt have aswell. Also 80 dollars for a bundle box, 30 over market is a swift kick in the nuts. My assumption is since they didnt have prerelease kits, they jacked up the price on bundles, being its the next best item. Very sad the best set of the year, one alota people have been waiting for and prerelease was awful. I have been going to OP since they were in downtown, shawn ran the front of house back then. We need some more of that energy back.
