KIM + ONO

Very disappointed in the quality. I purchased a beautiful silk kimono robe in the San francisco location and after one week ( no washing, no abuse, just gentle wear) it started coming apart at the seems. I called the store because I had just bought it and wore it once or twice and I was told I could not return it or replace it. I am very disappointed in the quality of this considering the price. I have beautiful kimonos from Japan and was really hoping this would be a nice kimono style robe for relaxing in the evening. However, the quality of the stitching is disgraceful.

Great customer service and such lovely kimonos! They were having a great sale, and I took advantage of it for some Christmas gifts. I’ll definitely be shopping here again, so many beautiful products in the store!

Long Silk Robe was a gift from my husband, I'm the one who suggested Kim+ono to him. I was very excited when I received it, the color looks great, the yellow outline on the print seemed thicker than what was shown on the website but that was minor. The real issues I noticed only on the next day, when I started to look at all the stitching. If you see the images that I've attached you can see that seams have fraying fabric, loose thread and general untidiness of the stitch. Not what is expected from a $200+ item. I've looked at other silk garments that I own (I wanted to make sure that this is not a common problem with silk) and noticed that all these problems are avoidable by other stitching technics. After that comparison the robe felt incredibly crudely made and generally felt cheep. I want to return the item, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, now I just have to muster up the courage to tell my husband that the gift by my own suggestion was a flop.

Shopped online for a robe and was excited about the robes. Celebrating my 12th anniversary. Silk! Received my package heat damaged and all contents as well. Anniversary ruined! Emailed KIM+ONO to let them know they had me return package and I requested a new one overnight supposed to get today by 8. Yeah second chance to give present to my wife. Well guess what I was told I wasn’t getting it as promised. Anniversary ruined again! Thanks for nothing KIM+ONO. Maybe you need to change carrier.

I’ve been following this company online for a long time but just visited the store for the first time. It’s Gorgeous! The store is incredibly beautiful. The kimonos are absolutely stunning and very high quality. They have Various price points and material options from polyester to fabulous hand painted silk. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. I can’t wait to visit them again!

I love their robes. I ordered quite a few years ago, and they were unfortunately stolen within my luggage during a trip. I finally decided to give in and ordered a couple of replacements. My shipment came the next day. I opted for plus size this time, as I tend to be bigger around the thighs and hips, but smaller around the waist. I am around a size 12, but the plus size robe fits great! I got the mineral color, which is an absolute beautiful tone of gray. I also got the teal robe, which is also fantastic. Looking forward to growing my collection in the near future.

OMG! Love the robes long short, silk, polyester with suede trim, and they also have various accessories! The staff was very attentive and helpful. And they also have a clearance area that you must see. I’d love to buy so much, however I did buy a lot. Lol. A must go to location in Chinatown, San Francisco.
