Wonderful, large selection of children’s books. Magical inside. Special thanks for the book stickers. My daughter loved them with her children’s books.

Beautiful bookstore with a great selection. I was impressed by the curated shelf of graphic novels. I can't wait to bring my grandchildren here. Bernal Heights has a strong sense of community. It's places like Book Castle that make me proud to be a San Franciscan.

This is a very sweet book store! It has a really unique collection of both children and adult titles. The kids section in the front is bright and playful. The adult section has a little seating and interesting sections from the varied languages to the rare pulp titles. This is a must see if you're in the area and worth the trip coming from other part of the bay area.

I love Book Castle. Great books for kids, and a whole $4.00 rack outside full of the books you read in high school... but have since realized were Actually Good, and you want to read them again to see what you missed in your adolescent haze. Happy for Book Castle to take my money!

So pleased to see a new bookstore has opened in Bernal Heights! It's small but I came out with two used books I'd been looking for, one from the $2 rack.

Lovely bookstore on Cortland Avenue. Very cozy with a great selection of books. Highly recommended .
