The best of the best! Nowhere always has the perfect vibes. Whether I’m picking up a coffee and browsing the bookshelves, looking for new crafts, or shopping with my nephews in the children’s section, I can rely on Nowhere to have everything we need. Plus their staff is super friendly 🙂

This bookshop has been my son’s and my fave spot since we moved to San Antonio! We get drinks, pick out a book to buy, and sit and read in the window nooks. Perfect weekend To Do! The people who work here have always been helpful, hilarious, and overall awesome. 1,000,000% recommend!

This is such a beautiful bookstore and truly a special place in San Antonio. They have an excellent book selection for all ages, and I love that you can grab a coffee and actually sit and enjoy your book in their cozy reading spaces. My kids absolutely love the children’s area, the variety of books is great, and they always enjoy browsing the extra items and gifts they sell as well. It feels very welcoming for families. The staff is consistently kind, and helpful, which makes every visit even better. You can really feel how much they care about their customers and their mission. We also love how deeply they support and engage with the local community. This is one of those places you want to keep coming back to, and recommend to everyone.

Welcoming and friendly. LGBTQIA+ friendly. Lovely book selection. Even picked up birthday cards and puzzles to take back home. I’ll have to come back in town and shop here again. Loved it! PS: Super cool bathroom art and they’re kept super clean!

I love the selection of books very LGBT friendly. They gave me cake with my coffee, which was pretty dope. I found out a bunch of cool art markets that happen here and I gotta pick up some really good books. Prefer it over Barnes & Noble‘s any day! It felt very comfortable and Honestly, I bought some socks that are like my favorite socks right now and some kitchen Linen as well. And it’s around awesome places that I already like going to. I’m surprised I haven’t gotten here sooner. The staff was awesome. Everybody was nice and Highly recommend coming here. Also, the coffee shop in the back is absolutely adorable

I've only visited Nowhere Bookshop once after I used their website to order a book that wasn't readily available elsewhere. Their website is solid and allowed me to order the book I was looking for without issue. I could have had it shipped, but I thought it would be a fun outing for me and the kiddos, so I used the in-store pickup option and I'm glad I did. The vibe and energy in this Bookshop when I visited was great. There were a good amount of customers to consider the shop lively without being overwhelming or too packed to enjoy walking around and sifting through their offerings. The two staff members I interacted with were helpful and in good spirits, and they were attentive to customers in providing advice and suggestions. They have a wide range of offerings meant for both young and old, with a section dedicated to the younger audiences, which was nice to see. They provided a bookmark with each book purchases, which I thought was a pretty nice little touch. It's such a minor thing, right? But something about getting that little freebie with your purchase adds a little extra to the overall value of the experience that I genuinely appreciate. I would definitely recommend a visit to Nowhere Bookshop next time you're in the market for a new book and want to support a local business. Take your time, browse their variety of offerings (both book and non-book related), maybe grab a coffee and/or a little snack, and chat with some book-loving staff. And, if they don't have what you're looking for, be sure to ask - I can only imagine that they'll get you what you need at a reasonable price as they were able to do for me.

The novelty items they have can actually be found on the website cheaper. I understand, a profit must be turned. Very cute, eclectic vibe yet the staff isn't very friendly. The coffee was subpar and lacked the flavor you would assume it should have.
