If you like records (buying, selling or trading) Friends of Sound is a hidden "in plain sight" treasure. There is also another business housed here- Wearhouse- loads of jeans, jackets, accessories and CONCERT/ FAN DRIVEN T-shirts. Service here was fantastic. They will play anything you want to hear. Limited parking in rear but the great vibes here will make up for that. Had a few great conversations about music. They even had RACKS of 45s. Music and Ts were nostalgic, classic and fun. Bad Brains, Social Distortion and Misfits to name a few. NOTE inventory is constantly changing- but the smooth vibe here is not!

First off, the guy who runs the store is such a sweetheart who is super helpful!! I mentioned my favorite brand, and he pulled out everything they had from the brand. He also seems like the right kinda guy to ask for any type of fashion or music advice. Second of all this store is amazing. It's full of punk and metal stuff along with other styles. They have a great selection of band shirts, high-quality pants, and some novel shoes. If you're looking for Trip NYC, Lee, or vintage jnco, he def has it all. It's even just fun to browse and look around. Check them out for awesome stylish alternative vintage.

Amazing record collection for heads from ALL walks of life and taste in music. The people working there are highly knowledgeable and extremely helpful, but they also allow you space to breathe haha. Meaning you can browse at your leisure and listen to any and as many records you choose. They also host great in-store performances, so any artists or promoters looking to put on a showcase should inquire

You gotta go some real digging into the 45s to find great forgotten about stuff. Souls, oldies, funk, disco, soundtracks, compilations. Live the whole feel of the place
