Janie's Record Shop LLC

My daughter had a GREAT first visit to Janie's Record Shop. The owner i believe, helped my daughter find a taylor swift vinyl album and she was excited. He made her have special day today.

Just for the history alone it gets 5 stars. I didn't get the honor of meeting Janie herself her son had taken her to church but her 2 daughter told me so many funny stories about her I would return just to meet this feisty 92 year old business woman. The shop has many treasures mostly ethanol but they also have a nice selection of country, jazz, rnb,rap,and rock.It was my 1st time here but it wont be my last.

Always have to make my cd stop & to see Janie & her beautiful family. So sorry for their loss u will b missed & was so thankful to take a pic w/your memorial, Stella & Robert. Thank u so much for continuing your mom's business 🙏 2022

The brother and sister who own the shop are very nice and welcoming. They are available to answer any and all questions, they know their history on vinyl. Would recommend if you’re looking for some throwback vinyls!

Possibly the nicest bunch of people I've met this year. They had a great selection and it was a pleasure chatting with them. It's a family owned business and they made you feel like part of that family. Check out the collection of Elvis memorabilia while you're there. It was totally worth making the trip from Austin.

One of the best record shops in San Antonio! Robert and Rebecca are incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions. The atmosphere is unbeatable—on Saturday mornings, they welcome you like family with pan dulce and coffee. Walking in feels warm and inviting, making every visit a great experience. If you’re into records, this shop is a must-visit!
