East Village Books

Great bookstore. They have a great collection of books. The prices are amazing. The man working there was not too friendly but maybe he was just having a bad day.

This bookshop is really cute, they have used books, postcards, records etc. It'd located in East Village, which is a really cute area in NY. It's a small bookshop but has tons of books. We found some really cool astrology books there! You enter by going down a couple of steps and then into a world of books. I believe it was cash only, so bring your cash! I'd like to go again whenever I'm back in NY.

This place was so fun to browse around. We found several books to take home. They have plenty of marked down items and all books are a fair price!

There was a lot of depth in the topics they covered. Some of the categories I usually look for weren’t there, but that’s not a problem for the shop. I did see some things I really wanted and a lot of books that I would have wanted if carrying them was not an issue. I will note that it’s pretty tight inside. If you go, maybe don’t be like the people who were there when I was. Be conscious that you can easily block an entire aisle (a full third of the store), so make room and share. There are enough books to go around.

WOW!!! I was pleasantly surprised. I found some hidden gems that have been on my reading list for a while all ranging from $7-$9. Their selection of books are well diverse. Please keep in mind that mask are required & there is no bathroom.

Love that this place is a good example why we should support our local bookstores! Stop and buy items while reading the poetry on the display window.

This is a cozy bookstore great for browsing with a friend or date. Lots of books old and new- found the whole ACOTAR series for under $20 each! Genres are extensive, and I appreciated their selections from language to art and more. There are also postcards, CDs, DVDs, and even some vinyl. Please note that this place is cash only- I wasn't able to buy anything because of this, but what are you gonna do.
