Great used book store with awesome store cats, owner was super helpful and nice. Had a great organization of books by author and section, prices were great too!

Quaint little used bookshop in walking distance from lots of other shops & restaurants in downtown Macon. The owner was super nice & we loved the artwork from his daughter that livened up the space. Lots of great books with even better prices! We left with a bag full & look forward to adding them to our personal library.

I love this bookstore at surface level- great selection and the owner is friendly and knowledgeable, but the cleanliness of the place keeps me from coming back often. There are cute cats that hang out there but it doesn’t seem like the owner cleans their litter boxes/the floor around it as there is an overwhelming smell of cat urine all throughout. The environment seems unsanitary and it’s hard to be there for enough time to browse the selection 🙁 hoping the owner will take action on this, this place has great potential!

I love this place! I’ve come several times now and always get a few books at a great price! This store has a great selection at great prices!

Duh. I love it. Cats, baby, Eric, books, it's a lifetime dream fulfilled. Local art on the walls, local books on the shelves, and Eric can recommend books based on your past reading likes. New and used books, if he doesn't have it, he can probably order it.

Located in downtown Macon, this place is a hidden gem. The owner is great! Only ppace where I've been able to find a Mario Vargas Llosa book around!

I love this bookshop. I’ve been taking my family here for the last year or so and they love to see the cats (I think it’s cute how at least one of the cats become borderline insistent when it wants to be pet), but I come for the books. I really appreciate the selection of classics and philosophy - genres that probably don’t move quickly but are good for the brain and soul - but I’m just as impressed by the selection of comics, graphic novels, and Stephen King books. I’m building a personal library of King hardcovers in good condition and was able to snatch up FOURTEEN in one go (and at a very good price, too). My favorite part of the shop, though, is the atmosphere. It’s relaxed and calm. There’s no rush to find books, buy, and get out. You can take your time and talk to the owner and have a good conversation about books. It’s also not like the other used bookshops in the area. The store credit policy is much more friendly than other local used bookshops and there’s a distinct lack of Christian music being piped through or religious accoutrements eating up floor space. You might think this isn’t remarkable, but it is when it comes to middle Georgia and it’s a breath of fresh air. I’ll be moving soon and this shop and Between Friends (a coffee shop in Warner Robins) are going to be what I miss the most. It’s a very cool shop and I wish them nothing but the best.
