Bandi Books

I love this bookstore! They have a wide variety of korean books, from the recent bestsellers (in Korea) to the classic novels and many more. And the people who work there are always super nice and helpful. I would recommend the store to anyone who want to read Korean books and learn more about Korean culture in depth.

I went into Bandi Books in Koreatown to find the recent novel prize author, Han Kang's books. Seeing so many of them written by this author, I politely said to the middle age woman sitting at the register if I could ask a question. Before I even got to ask my question completely, she cut me off. Then she had this really demeaning tone to answer completely wrong thing trying to educate me on what I already know. She was so rude and had this disrespectful face all over her. My jaw dropped and I just walked out. Wow. How does she even have a business if she has no clue on providing a decent service. Must be a very angry, sad and miserable person. I wouldn't go here.

Small, seems family-owned. Owners/employees are not overbearing and let you explore the store on your ornw, and answer questions accordingly. Even kept my phone safe for me when I accidentally left it behind.

I ordered the book. they had never responded. when i called, they said, "your order was canceled". That's it!

Had fun finding the books we needed. Friendly service.

My secret favorite bookstore.

Even before I worked here, this was one of my favorite bookstores in the country. And, in defense of their used book section, they have one of the best used fiction sections I've ever seen.
