Great bookstore. I walked in and the owner greeted me. I told him I was studying Korean and he pulled out a selection of books for me to choose from. I bought a couple and he even threw in some free children's books for me so that I could practice. We spoke in Korean for a bit and he told me to come back once I was finished with my books. Def will return for more.

My family and I’ve been coming to this book store for almost two decades. The owner is always very professional and knowledge of books to recommend. This bookstore has a variety of both new and used books in Korean. I love supporting small and local business that are also historic. Please go to this bookstore if you’re in search for Korean books.

My family has been coming to this bookstore for almost 20 years now. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He is also very sweet. They have variety of Korean books used and new. I dropped by Happy Bookstore for some Korean novels during my LA visit since the bookstores back home don’t have such offerings. The bookstore owner was very personable and considerate of my tastes as a reader. I ended up with two recommendations and a book I found on my own. True to the bookstore’s name, I left the store very happy, with a bag full of books. They also have an online catalog for any long-distance readers 🙂

Quite literally the most amazing book store experience. The store owner was extremely kind and did his best to help me find the books I wanted. The book selection is huge and the price is reasonable considering the fact that he has to pay for books to be imported from Korea. There are a lot of books aimed towards Korean learners. There is a section for Manhwa and some Manga as well. They have bibles that are double translated with English and Korean together. Honestly, it was a huge blessing to end up there!!!!!

This bookstore has the most perfect name. My daughter and I went to this bookstore today while visiting from out of town. The owners were so unbelievably kind and helpful! The gentleman spent so much time with us showing us books and sharing so much great information with us. My only regret is that I had more room in my suitcase so I could have bought more books! Can't wait to return!
