Iowa Book

I went to the Lululemon launch. I have never felt so unappreciated as customer. After years of spending my good money in that store, you would think they would have given me the free gift after my total was $524. But no, since I am not a young college student, but rather a vested full time resident of the community, they said they didn't have any left to give out when I saw them sitting behind the counter. I feel like they don't value me at all am considering just returning everything! Ageism is a real thing folks!

My wife's an alumnus of the U of I, so she really had to go back there to empty out their racks of t-shirts, jackets, trinkets, and other things. I think we must have left behind at least $250! Then she went across the street and had her picture taken next to Herky.

Great staff and helpful in getting the books needed

Overall great selection of University of Iowa merchandise. Prices are very high however and many of the apparel options don't have sizes past XL. Employees were nice but were on their phones the whole time we were in the store.

The store manager Doug is beyond disrespectful. I witnessed him yell, not scream, yell very aggressively at a customer who was patiently waiting in line. He is absolutely the rudest person I have ever met. I loved shopping at the Iowa Book before it became owned by Barnes and Noble College. Doug, however, made everyone want the original Iowa Book back. I was a frequent shopper at this establishment. Now I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere, and encouraging others to do the same.

They have a great selection of college books for all your classes at a reasonable price. As for clothing apparel, they're prices are flat out rediculous. They have a nice selection but I wouldn't purchase a single piece of their taxed clothing.
