Exactly what you always hope a bookstore will be, but what they rarely actually live up to these days! Very extensive collection of books, wide variety, great prices, 10/10 vibes. Will definitely be back again.

One of the most wonderful book stores I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time in. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the smell of old books, wonderful vibes, and a friendly and knowledgeable owner, Dee. She was such a joy to talk to and I will definitely look forward to the next occasion where i have an hour or two to wander around this bookstore 💙📚

Outstanding service and selection. Reminiscent of world famous Strand Bookstore in NYC. Felt like I had re-entered a literary wonderland I'd grow up enjoying and missed since my youth. Wonderful, simply wonderful!

I liked it! I just passed by it before deciding to stop inside. The gentleman at the front was very nice and welcoming. They have books on top of books on top of more books. It's like a mini maze of books, I liked that in almost every corner, there's a spot to seat, and the back area is adorable too. 10/10 recommend!

Over 135K thousand books and organized in such an easy way to browse. Including a beautiful collection of Indigenous stories and Spanish books. The owners (husband and wife) were super kind and knowledgeable. I had been looking for a book for several months that no one had, asked the husband about it and not only did he know exactly what I was looking for, he went straight to it, and pulled the book from the shelves. I was in shock. I bought 5 books, all ranged $6-8 each. Can't wait to come back to this one.

I went this past weekend, it’s book heaven for any bookworm out there! Their collection is amazing! There isn’t a single square inch in that building that isn’t covered by a bookshelf also the owners are so friendly and sweet!!

This is the ideal used bookstore. It’s the best used bookstore I’ve found in the Houston area, and possibly in Texas. Here’s what it gets right: it’s not stacked with the same generic used bookstore stuff, where you can’t move for old James Pattersons and Danielle Steel books. There’s a variety to the selections, going back into the 40s and 50s, where you don’t know what you’re going to find as you browse. They have actual seats, and a couch! They aren’t scared for you to sit down and read something to see if you’d like it, to take some time to actually browse. Have you ever tried to sit down in a Half Price Books? I would not recommend it. I usually can work my way through a used bookstore’s collection in half an hour and never need to come in again, but after an hour or so of perusing I’d barely made it past the first few shelves. It also has a bookstore dog named Olive, who is very friendly, and a bookstore cat, who doesn’t belong to anyone and seems to have moved in on its own, which is the correct way for a bookstore to acquire a cat. A million stars. I’ll be back.
