Brazos Bookstore

Visited Brazos Bookstore for the first time during a school field trip. A cozy bookstore in the heart of the city. A great vibe and friendly staff. Had cute displays of books. I especially loved the table with all the cat selections. 😸 The General Manager (Randi) was excellent with all the kids and very friendly. Thank you to the staff for making it an enjoyable field experience and sharing your love of literature.

This bookstore is a true readers delight. They have an excellent selection with great recommendations. I love the thoughtfulness of how they pair their books and the displays they have. The kids treehouse room is so cute as well.

Love this bookstore! On top of the book selection, they stores host a number of events every month. They foster and build a community who connects over shared interests! The owner is really nice! Can't recommend this place enough!

Very nice bookstore. Wide selection of Texas related books. Brazos is a long standing bookstore in the City of Houston, recently hit their 50th anniversary. The atmosphere is great! Their merchandise is really cute too.

Brazos Bookstore hosted a book signing for the launch of my friend’s popular new release, "The Next Conversation: Argue Less, Talk More." The event was incredibly well organized, and the Brazos staff made sure every guest felt welcome. I especially loved how kind and patient they were with children—it’s clear they foster a love of reading for all ages. Highly recommend this bookstore for book lovers and anyone looking for a warm and inviting literary space.

Wow! This bookstore is great! They have a great selection of books. There's also themed areas including Halloween, black authors, and indigenous voices. The children's area is also great and has books for all ages. There are author signing events too. The staff is super friendly and helped us quickly. Make sure to bring a card because they're not taking cash at this moment. The parking lot is also spacious!
