Books on B

Very friendly shop & heartwarming! I love that I went in without thinking of buying anything. I found a book i’ve been wanting in person by gloo books for my daughter about Malaysian cuisines. It is a gem to find other than ordering online. It’s a very welcoming little shop. Would definitely visit again! 🙂

Oh how I love Books on B! The shop is small, but perfectly curated and adorably decorated. Renee is a GEM. One of the kindest people around, and she is just wonderful to be around. I stop in whenever I'm downtown and they're open to see what new nicknacks are in. She sources solely from local artists, and the dedication to getting quality goods shows! I also purchased one of the T-shirts she sells and it is SO soft and absolutely adorable.

Charming local bookstore with lovely owner, fun patrons, great selection and super prices. Nice selection of bonus item ( pins, cards, etc) besides books. Great location near municipal parking and Cookies if you happen to be in the neighborhood for other reasons!!

Books on B is the most charming little bookstore, and Renee makes it truly special. She is incredibly welcoming, and her thoughtful, above-and-beyond customer service makes me want to spend all day browsing the shelves. Renee helped my daughter complete her beloved Pigeon book collection—something she’s now very proud of! If a title wasn’t in stock, Renee quickly and happily ordered it for us. Recently, I made a big shift in my career path and asked Renee if she could recommend a book to help me prepare for the police written exam. After doing some research, she suggested an award-winning study guide with practice tests and ordered it for me. Thanks to her help, I studied it daily and passed the exam on my first try. Renee is truly a breath of fresh air, and Books on B feels like a cozy second home. We’re lucky to have this gem in our community.

My husband and I needed to get books for a baby shower and I suggested to him Books On B since it was walking distance from our house and Renee was very open and welcoming to us. We found two books for the event and they were very well priced. And yes this place is very friendly to the LGBTQ+ community as well. Would recommend this to anyone looking for local and not wanting to go into the well known book stores.
