Book Gallery West

I’ve been coming to Book Gallery West since I was a child, and it makes me so happy to see them still open. It’s a wonderful local bookstore with a warm, inviting feel and a strong sense of community. Places like this are rare and worth supporting. I’ll always come back.

Book Gallery West is such a welcome resource in our community. I appreciate their carefully curated collections on display. I'm easily overwhelmed, so I like their system of putting high-quality books out so I don't have to rummage for them. I've found so many great books and gifts here. They've been there for ages, outliving almost every other surrounding small business. The staff have always been polite to me.

A Gainesville institution! I’ve gone in regularly for most of my life and I’m always finding something new and interesting. The collection is ever evolving and always reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful and there’s a wide selection of non-book related merch (incense/journals/calendars/candles)

So this little book store caught my attention.i had to see for myself what I could find for treasure in there as you know the universe provides to those that seek. And the best way to learn is by those that wrote a journal or shared the knowledge. So please support not just your 📚 book store. They have used books and new books, both with good price. They also have a selection of beautiful and unique gifts. You can also find used school books (literature)

Lovely little shop. Stopped in yesterday while I was on the road about 3+ hours from my home. I loved the accessibility!! Easy parking lot, right next to Publix (huge plus). Ended up leaving with 3 books. The lady who checked me out was also very kind.

This is such a cute store I didn’t know it was here! Stopped by for a last minute gift and the guy at the counter think his name started with A was really nice and wrapped it for me. Will be coming back!
