Judging by the Cover: A Bookstore

We absolutely love Judging by the Cover book store, they are such a beautiful space in downtown Fresno. Always good to support local businesses who are also BadAss community members

This is my favorite place in Fresno! So welcoming, hosts incredible events and has the best book selection in the city. Highly recommend judging by the cover for gifts as well. The owner is very helpful with suggestions if you need idea.

My favorite bookstore in town! JBTC always has a unique and diverse selection of books. They also have some fun stickers, pins, flags, art, etc. If you come here you will be leaving with a bag full of goodies!

phenomenal book selection. I didn't recognize much but absolutely everything caught my eye to an obnoxious and expensive degree 😭 They even have comics and manga!!! massive recommend! I hope they get a used book section too in the future!

I am so glad I stopped by this bookstore for the first time today. It’s tucked away in "The Pop-up Place," a mini-mall on F Street (which seems to host a couple other small businesses worth visiting). The vibes were nice and the number of books not too overwhelming. Everything was so intentionally displayed and selected, especially smaller chapbooks and local Hispanic magazines. This place is a gem.
