Recluse Books

The Recluse Books is a beautifully arranged small bookstore with a thoughtfully curated selection. The space is cozy and welcoming, making it easy to linger and explore. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the layout and the books they choose to carry. A wonderful spot for readers who appreciate a well-kept, independent bookstore with character.

Santa was in town and I had a pleasant experience with the cashier and the store is well kept.

Amazing little space with great vibes! The owner of the store was there and had wonderful things to say about the events. I love that they sell books and art by locals. There is quite a selection, including some children’s books, middle grade, and YA.

This is the best bookstore in Fort Worth! I’m so excited they are here! The staff is incredibly helpful, they didn’t have the book I needed and offered to order it for me. I think I go once a week at this point! Also the staff recommendations are always on point! In the best way possible, it gives eldest daughter weird literature, with variety. They’re such a great addition to the neighborhood and Fort Worth!

Sarah told us about a new independent book store in Fort Worth and we ran right down! Puncy little spot, don't let the size fool you for she has gems. Owners have a good eye and understand readers, I see big things for this spot!

I love small bookstores, and this one is my new favorite! The nonfiction shelf is typical of this size of store, but the variety was off the charts. I could have easily spent several hundred dollars there.
