Pearl books is a great small business bookstore right off the Fayetteville square. So when you visit the square, go find this little gem. Very cozy vibe and great place to browse, leaf through books and buy. They have nice wooden bookshelves, reading chairs and offer beverages. I bought a high quality Leuchtturm1917 journal and several books. Every time I visit my son who is attending The U of A, this is one of my favorite stops. I haven't tried the beverages but will try one on my next visit. 🍺☕️🫖 Note, they are closed on Mondays which I have tried to shop there several times on Mondays.

Pearl’s Books is one of the best bookstores in town! They have a huge selection for all ages and are always willing to order for you. I love that they also have a system to help support the shop for audiobooks with LibroFM. Support your local book shops!

This bookstore is FANTASIC! They have an excellent selection and the people working there have wonderful taste. Their restrooms also bear mentioning as some of the finest public restrooms I have ever encountered.

Probably my favorite bookstore I’ve ever been to! They have a great book selection, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful displays, a great kids section and they love dogs! What more could a person want?! Definitely recommend this bookstore to locals and visitors!

I found Pearl's when I went looking for a specific book. Even for a small local space, they had the one I was looking for! Although the space is small, many of the shelves are floor to ceiling, so there's a lot here! I also really liked the handwritten notes taped to the shelves of reviews from people/staff who have actually read the book! Joined the rewards program on my first visit and plan to go back!

I always have a lovely experience walking in here. Everyone is very attentive and nice. Bought the cutest mini embroidery kits too 😍

Pearl’s Books is the cutest little bookstore! AND it’s owned by a local couple. It’s kind of tight but I find that cozy. They have one of those fun ladders on a track and the books go all the way up to the ceiling. The staff is always ready to help you find your next book…or coin from the Lord of The Rings universe (inquire about it at the desk). There’s a few seats for previewing books and if you visit the kids’ section you’ll find Falkor! Pro-Tip: Go get some tea from Savoy across the tea and bring it in with you to help you browse!
