Shelf Life

A hidden gem! If you're enjoying the businesses on Front Street (or are just in the area), set a few minutes aside to visit Shelf Life. They have an incredible range of genres and a sizable free and $1 selection; most books I saw there were under $5. Last time I visited, I walked out with a truly huge stack of books and spent less than $25 total. The space itself is gorgeous with an impressive number of places to sit. Relax and read for awhile!

This place is amazing. I wish I would’ve known about it when I had gotten rid of all my children’s books that were practically brand new. The owner is so kind and friendly. I go to Asterix coffee shop regularly and never noticed this bookstore until they put their free books on a shelf right on the sidewalk. Such a cool place.

The owner is passionate about books and getting them in the hands of her customers. Shelf Life is a safe space where everyone is welcome and I dare you to try and leave empty handed! From giving back to the local schools and community, I hope Shelf Life is around for a very long time!

Wonderful shop filled with all kinds of books. Very reasonably priced. This is my new weekly fun place to shop in Cuyahoga Falls!

I stopped in a little over a week ago and picked up a handful of books! The prices are fantastic and I even grabbed a puzzle from the free section! Online I found the book challenge, which is actually challenging me to find very interesting books for the year! I'll definitely be back 🙂

This is one of my favorite book stores! The majority of books are only 1 dollar, which is a great deal. The owner is very kind, the store has a welcoming and low-stress vibe, and overall is an amazing shop. My only note to people who have never been there before is that when you enter, the building has multiple businesses, and you have to walk down a hallway and then down some stairs. Totally still worth it! Just a little bit confusing the first time.

What an amazing gem! I own a business right down the street and have found myself to be a regular! Shelf Life is stocked with a great selection of used books. The selection is constantly being refreshed so you’re likely to find yourself visiting often. If you are looking to discover something new, there is a table highlighting the works of local authors. The aesthetic is warm and inviting. The owner is knowledgeable and kind. Best of all, when you shop here, you’re also supporting a small business whose goal is to make books accessible to everyone. Highly recommended!
