Half Price Books

The staff is so helpful here. I was wondering around and a sweetie pie helped me find the memoir I'd been searching for then even gave me other recommendations. Very neat shelves and good vibes.

Good collection of dvds and some Wii games too which was nice. Unfortunately not a so broad range of fiction and kind of pricey books wise (got 6 used books for 50 dollars) but nice atmosphere and good service.

My son brings me books from here whenever he travels to a place where they have one. I wanted to personally go, so i made a little day trip to the nearest one(about 2.5hrs away). Absolutely worth it! Went a bit overboard(and over budget), but I just couldn't help myself. They have such great bargains! Going on vacation soon and am making it a point to add it to my list of places to go.

Love Half-priced bookstore, always a great time shopping there. They have a huge variety of old records, video games, Funko Pops, and of course used books for all ages. I could spend hours just looking through the shelves and their cute book/merch displays. The coffee shop attached is a great place to sit and enjoy a beverage as well. Can't wait to visit again!

A must visit for book fans. Wherever I travel to I look for copies of TKAM and they had a one of a kind! You could spend hours in this place. You know it when you walk in and smell that used book smell. Also cute gifts, journals, bags… all the fun stuff.

We live south of San Antonio, but have showed here for 15 years. I bought one book, with 20% discount, making it 56.00 before tax. I had passed on it when it was $70.00 the last time I was there. My wife bought a bunch of books, and my adult daughter bought even more. I am considering not going there anymore due to their concealed carry exclusion. I don't think it safe to leave them in the car.

You can find many things here. Books, comics, dvds, cd’s, vhs, you just need to walk around and explore. They also buy your used items as well. They have a scanning area that you leave your inventory. Then the will call you over the intercom what they are done. They give you an estimate for what they will take in. Then if you expect. They print out a slip to cash in the front
