Huntley Bookstore

Nice staff and customer service. Not a good selection/variety of options for college apparel and merchandise, esp for cmc. Prices a bit steep. Only open during the week until 4pm. No weekend or evening hours.

There is a man running the place that was extremely rude. I was going to purchase AirPods and some other technology that I needed but ultimately just walked out.

Not a great selection of college merchandise, and what they do sell is very thin and poor quality. Not what it used to be 10 years ago with heavy duty and good quality hoodies and t-shirts. I have two degrees from the Claremont Colleges and went back to buy some gifts, but didn't buy anything. Won't be back.

Ordered from here a second time and order was canceled weeks later. There was no further communication regarding the cancelation. Do not recommend ordering from here. You are better off elsewhere unless you have to shop here for a much needed book or textbook for an assignment due the same day or something.

Couldn’t fulfill entire order. Disappointing.. Website is in need of update as listing shows in stock for an item unavailable for purchase. I explained this issue to customer service who dismissed my complaint. To prove my point, I made the same order again for the exact same item which is no longer in stock for delivery. I did so after I was told "the item was purchased by someone else in store. It happens." This response had dismissed my point entirely that the website needs to be updated accordingly to show the item is no longer in stock for delivery. 3/5 stars as other items ordered were nice and arrived faster than expected. 😀 👍 Customer service could be better!

Some cool colleges swag, overall pretty awful. They charge $4 for a notebook that would be half that price at Target, even more money if you want a notebook with your college's name on it. The staff is nice, but completely incompetent; both semesters I've now had issues with something as simple as picking up books. For something I'm spending over $150 on, it should be purchased without any problems. I'm definitely keeping my textbook purchasing to Amazon.

As university bookstores go, this one is great. Very very nice staff on hand to help with everything. A little-known fact: Huntley will price match and orders are always expedited, so it's not necessary to run to the other big box retailers. In most cases, Huntley was able to get my book order faster than the others as well.
