Smith & Hannon Bookstore

The only black owned bookstore in Cincinnati and probably the only black owned bookstore I have ever been in! Mrs. Smith is such a kind and hard-working woman and she deserves all of the business she gets! I love this bookstore and will continue to support it as much as possible!

Great little neighborhood bookstore+ in the heart of OTR ... nice selection of books, cards and more (videos, clothing, jewelry, etc). And the owner is a wonderful woman who seems to be dedicated to the community!

Wonderfully friendly, talkative, and knowledgeable owner, a great selection of books for all ages, and art and jewelry on display. It's a great small independent bookstore

Really cozy and homey bookstore, and Mrs. Smith is an absolute angel. Had a wonderful conversation with her as she recommended a book for my secret santa recipient.

Great collection of books for both adults and children with an incredibly kind owner! I will be returning to purchase more books and support this independently owned bookstore!

Disappointed with the service and lack of response from the owner about an incident in the store. I waited a month for the response and tried different emails given to me, with 2 of the 3 emails returned failed delivery. Tried calling and was given a run around by a staff that was at the store that day. Was really excited to visit but will not return after that experience.

Wonderful selection of books. We had a delightful conversation with the owner. Will be back whenever we are in Cincinnati!
