Manga Spot Chicago

Was so excited to find this store nestled in the Magnificent mile. My family spent a long time browsing and everyone found something they loved. My only complaint is that they are more like a comic book store - with only the newer volumes in stock - and less like a bookstore (with old and new publications mixed together). HOWEVER, the staff was FANTASTIC and suggested websites were we could purchase the older editions we were looking for.

Perfecto: It has "all the manga" I've read last 4 decades (e.g., North star, Deat note, etc). Not only that, I was able to find new ones looking interesting. Definitely, the best comics I have been.

Very friendly staff, they cover tax so you only pay for the price of the item. Very cute little store in the mall.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! Staff is super friendly! And you don’t have to pay for the tax they cover it. They even have staff that knows a lot about certain sections so if you need help they have someone for it! I love how they play trending music and the book selection is amazing!! This is now the only manga store I go to!

Such a wonderful spot. Staff is super friendly! Cute anime merch too!

I love this place. They have mystery pins/keychains/etc from Japan that I can find only in one other store in the Chicago area!

Amazing little shop! Lots of good selection
