The Book & Cover

I would love to spend more days and time at this bookstore. I convinced my husband to drive us to Chattanooga from Nashville (we are from CA) just so I could visit this bookstore. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by a lady who was on her laptop working. Not sure if she worked there or was just being a friendly person. The layout of the store is very pleasing to the eyes. It’s very neat and their children’s section is beautifully painted and decorated with book references. I loved it so much! Wish we had something like this in CA. I bought a book, children’s activity book, t-shirt and a book and cover sticker. Stop by and check it out. It’s worth the drive!

Locally owned book store, owner with superb morals, that also supports immigrants? Of course I showed up and bought 4 books and I WILL be back for more! This book shop was very cute and had some seating inside to read/sip on coffee. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful. They also had a wide selection of books, including limited edition versions.

Absolutely charming bookshop, converted from an old house. Has just the right old-time feel, and lots of beautiful books. Kids section is truly a work of art - you can tell a lot of time and love went into making it special. The Chai and pastries are also excellent! Such a fun shop around the corner!

Super cute coffee shop and books! So may great areas to sit, enjoy the surroundings but still feel like you can have your own space. And the coffee was good! Loved it!

Simply the best bookstore. From the outside to the inside, the amount of love and thought And care that was poured into the details. Is this a store that is kid friendly? Yes!! Is it also a store that my own 40 year old heart fell in love with and wanted to stay for hours??? Also yes!!! We got several kids books, a couple adult books, some local artisanal gifts. Also, happened to have arrived just in time for my 5 year old to enjoy a book reading from the local librarian. Way to help instill love of books from a early age. Coffee was excellent as well. I've never been to such a peaceful and lovely bookstore. Top notch. 10 ⭐!!

My favorite book shop in all of Chattanooga! The Book & Cover is quaint, cozy, and inviting to all customers. They have a wonderful selection, from romance and fantasy to young adult and general fiction. There is a lovely kid's area, colorful and stacked with books that are inclusive and unique. The staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming. The book clubs are so much fun! Overall, just a beautiful business and one I'm proud to support.

A wonderful book shop what's nicely curated book introductions by the staff. The atmosphere is fantastic the employees are fantastic the cookies are fantastic. You could spend hours comfortably here. This location is truly unique!
