The Book Rack

Amazing place! They have a diverse variety of books and they are super organized. The staff were very helpful and kind. They even have amazing discounts, stickers, and free bookmarks. would recommend this place to anyone, I can’t wait to go back!

The Book Rack might just be my favourite bookstore in Charlotte after I visited them for the first time today. They’ve a good collection of books spanning different genres including fiction, classic literature, contemporary literature, graphic novels and others. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and polite—all of which makes a bookstore experience all the more worthwhile. I spent a couple of hours perusing the bookstore, and found some pretty interesting books. Restroom is in the back and sufficient parking is available outside. I’ll be back here soon.

I visited the Book Rack while I was in Charlotte- overall impressed with the selections and the quality of the books. The store is quite large and has all sort of genres available. Staff members were super friendly too. They have some sort of membership system, where you get a certain discount after certain amount of purchase and occasionally runs monthly specials. Overall highly recommended!

I called several used bookstores looking for The Fellowship of the Ring and The Book Rack was the only store who had it! I got The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King all for about $10 bucks. They had multiple copies of each as well as The Hobbit. Endless selection of books, great prices; knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Will be going back to The Book Rack even though there are closer bookstores in proximity to where I live.

Absolutely LOVE this spectacular book store! Been shopping there since I moved here in 2016! Great selection! The staff is so very helpful and accommodating. You can ask them to call you when a book you want is back in-stock!

This place is a great hole in the wall if you go in looking for treasure. Best not to look for just one specific title though. Hard to navigate if you are in a wheelchair or have a stroller. If you are a stickler for organization, brace yourself.

An amazing collection any reader must visit. I got the specific edition to what I wanted. Bad cat allergies beware—I appreciated the sign informing me on the way in.
