this place is genuinely one of my favorite places to go. the owners are really great people who make the experience so much better. i’m so glad they’re getting more popular because they certainly deserve it! It’s a must hit destination for any kpop fans coming through NC- but luckily I live here so I get to come all the time… I’ve yet to see a better and more organized collection of reasonably priced albums and merch at any other kpop store! I’ve read reviews about staff experiences and I understand both sides honestly. Even as a regular, I’ve had some not so kind experiences with staff that were a little off putting, but I still come back! I can understand how that can impact someone’s experience and sometimes I feel like I may be reading into it a little much when I’m there but I’d be lying if I said it never happened to me. The store was hit with really fast popularity for such a small space so that could play into it but at the end of the day a service job is a service job. I will still be supporting of course, I just wanted to mention it as I’ve seen it in a lot of other reviews.

Not a bad, but not a fun in-person shopping experience. I don’t own a Labubu & do not know if I will or care to, but I do enjoy the blind box experience & wanted to try a different store than Miniso. The customers were respectful while we all waited in line for opening, & the employees were friendly, too. 4-5 stars on that, but I should note the woman behind the counter seemed very tense & unfriendly, she also seemed to be watching for people stealing, which is understandable but there was no communication of "Hey, this is what we have! Welcome in, please do xyz." But after following on weeks on TikTok, I decided to go in-person to the store, which looks nothing like it did on TikTok: there were only 8 blind boxes (1 kind) at the register & then a significant amount of the Sonny Angel babies to choose from. The blind boxes were Pop Mart official & cost $39.99 after tax. They are the "Forest Party" plush pendants that retail for $23.03 on the Pop Mart website. Their faces aren’t as high quality as others on the market & doesn’t feel like it should be twice the price. Overall, I just was surprised that the store is not aesthetic or mostly blind boxes, it is mainly music merch, books or paper products, & random plushies. Even less than 24 hours ago the business posted on TikTok that it was increasing its blind boxes & not slowing down! Meanwhile the entire stock was 8 of 1 kind & Sonny Angels that have been available for years. The business seems to prioritize its TikTok presence, which is understandable for them but frustrating for locals. I would recommend trying somewhere like Miniso or just staying at home & using TikTok!

I came here to buy sonny angels and look at other blind boxes because friend recommended me to come to this place. The selection was decent. My main issue was with the girl working the store, she was being short with me and would act annoyed whenever I asked questions. This place is only good because they sell the blind boxes "conveniently."

Was a winner of the pin for love giveaway that happened in October. It’s now November and I still don’t have what I won. I reached out provided my address and was told I had to cover shipping. That was totally fine. I reached out many times to ask for an update on what the cost would be and how to pay it and was never provided that information. It’s been over a month safe to say I will not ever be receiving the item. I feel as if the giveaway was a scam and only people who could pick up in store actually got there win. Even though contest rules didn’t say pick up was required and said prizes would be shipped. Extremely disappointed and will no longer be supporting.

Cute K-pop store! Well stocked, and the atmosphere is great. Both owners have a lot of knowledge of all the products and are super welcoming! Nice little store front with a trading room in the back half. It's great for anyone looking to get into K-pop or expand their collection.

So much selection! There are SO MANY ALBUMS and so many fun extra things as well! . . (The labubus, blind boxes and smiskis are overpriced [in my opinion] so I didn't get any!)

I won one of their labubu giveaways and they never reached out to me regarding shipping and gave me a rude response (image attached). I don’t support this business.. it’s wishy washy and not consistent.. I’ve been waiting for my giveaway prize for a month yet no one reached out.. what kind of business practice is this? 0/5 stars if that’s the case.. a real let down. Why even host a giveaway when you can’t execute it properly and ship out the prize in a timely manner. A month is wild for not even receiving a reach out and never getting my prize. A big disappointment! 👎🏼 Business doesn’t care and it shows.
