Heroes Aren't Hard To Find

I don't know anything about comics, but the store is dog-friendly so I take my puppy in for socialization (and will soon start taking my older dog in on her walks as well). They always offer her a dog treat. Nice people, cool atmosphere in the store... go buy their comics!

I grew up with an uncle that was an avid comic book collector. I used to read his Archie comics. I had been meaning to walk into Heroes Aren’t Hard To Find for a few years and yesterday my timing was perfect! I had just left East 8th Vintage which is just a short walk away. My first visit here in quite a while. I had attended one of their huge Cons years ago. Since I grew up in the area and collected comics for over 50 years, I was curious to see their new (to me) location. After a dizzying trip through traffic and construction I finally made it. It is certainly impressive being greeted by Spider-man battling Doc Octopus overhead. Tons and tons of comics, magazines, books, games, etc. So much to see hard to take it all in. The only thing I missed were the displays of beloved titles from the 1940s to 1960s. So I was told of a huge comic show in Boston and large stocks were sent up there. A very impressive store. Everyone was very helpful and answered questions that I had. I even brought a small box of my personal comics for them to look over. They liked the books and the condition and we agreed on a price for them. Very nice people and very pleasant atmosphere.

Starbucks or comic shops. Upscale, clean, sterile, very nice looking. Plenty of selection for new issues and trades but their back issue stock seems to have taken a hit over the years, or maybe I just came during an off period. Prices are a tad higher than most other places, but they seem to focus primarily on that high-value collectors' market, which is fine, since you know if you buy from them, you will at least get a decent graded copy.

One of the best comic shop we have ever been to. All the books are very well organized, and they have lots of amazing books. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!

A great, pure comic store experience! Helpful staff and a huge selection of comics , trades, and collectibles make this historic shop a ‘must visit’ stop!

Great comic book store with a massive selection. Friendly staff, too. I go here almost every Wednesday.
