Big Story Bookstore

FANTASTIC bookstore in Bend! We visited them all and this was probably my favorite. Loved that they had new and used books. The decor and set up was so fun and whimsical. They also have a good selection of rare and signed editions. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Hit a few bookstores in Bend while passing through, and this one was definitely my favorite. I thought it had the best selection, and the prices for used books were fair. Loved their Children and middle readers section for my kiddos as well.

It's a cute and trendy-looking bookstore of a decent size. Eye-catching from the outside with its iconic owl mural, and well-decorated inside. It's well-organized, and you can easily tell that they have gotten some inspiration from successful stores in bigger cities. They offer fair prices for most of their selection, especially in the sleeved vintage mass market section near the records and DVDs toward the back. The music selection is not the best, but that's okay since it's a bookstore first and foremost. They have a nice rewards system too, and my partner and I plan to come back whenever we are in the area.

I just love this place. The staff is always so kind and helpful and it feels so cozy the moment you enter. I love that they have new and used books to choose from as well. Highly recommend 😊

I always try to get my Book Club books from the public library FIRST, but when there are 232 holds on 43 copies, this is the place to go in Bend. Staff is very helpful and knows their inventory. Prices are fair and sometimes they have special deals.

This used bookstore has a huge selection of titles for readers of all genres & ages! All of their books are in excellent condition and very reasonably priced. Great ambiance and super friendly staff. It’s obvious that a lot of care and detail went into designing this space.

Great place but limited hours. Good selection and nice staff member who is very helpful. Prices are high for a used bookstore but they do have some very current and newly published books that most used bookstores don’t have. I paid $7-$11 for books that I get for about half that at other stores. But other stores in town didn’t have those books so it’s a give and take!
