This is a quaint used bookstore—though "little" might not be the right word since they have an impressive amount of books. Both the front and back doors were open, letting in a pleasant breeze, and the back porch overlooking the bay is a perfect spot to sit and read. It’s not the most organized shop, so browsing takes a bit of hunting, but that adds to the charm. With so many books to discover and such a cozy atmosphere, I’d definitely come back here again.

This place is exactly what a bookstore was meant to be. There are so many books that they don't fit on the shelves. There are stacks of books everywhere, and there are lots of little nooks to enjoy. The kids really enjoyed being here because it was fun for them to explore. If you're looking to find something fast, this is probably not the place to look. If you want to meander through and enjoy looking at each Shelf and discovering the treasures held within, then please come in and enjoy!

If you ever wondered what it would be like to visit a bookstore from a fantasy novel or movie, I think this is a good place to visit. Books are quite literally pouring out from every single square centimeter of this place, even outside. This includes stuffed boxes stacked up beside stacks of books. This does mean trying to find something in particular might be difficult. When I visited here it was pretty brief, so I didn't have time to ask for help, I would suggest if you plan to come here be ready to spend hours. By no means is that bad, I'd gladly would have it I had the schedule that day!

This is a great stop for used books! There are books stacked everywhere, yes EVERYWHERE! I loved it. They have some great travel picture books, coffee table books. It is a little musty but that just adds to the atmosphere. The bookshop keeper was very humble and thanked everyone for stopping by. I found an awesome book on Florence for a decent price. I also saw some classic paperback novels and an unopen Ken Burns Jazz documentary series. I can easily spend an hour browsing the packed shelves!

I visited Eclipse Bookstore in Fairhaven for the first time on my birthday this year. I bought the first book my eye landed on, an old book on a Tudor King. I liked that there were books piled everywhere and that prices are clearly marked and easy to find. I even loved that it was a little hard to see the register because of the books piled everywhere. It had a lot of charm, yet felt light and clean inside. I liked that they had a decent selection of older books and even books that look old, like Easton Press and Folio Society, like the one I purchased. Older books (and ones that feel old) are my favorite. I was able to look around quite a bit, but you need to plan a good amount of time if you want to really feel like you've checked it out.

The most wondrous book store of them all. This should be a heritage site - an infinite treasure chest of wonders and curiosity. And the most lovely store owner!

I love this used bookstore! Walking in there and seeing all the stacks of books piled high and all the books on the bookshelves was an amazing feeling. There is a pretty view when you stand on the balcony behind the store. The worker there was very friendly! I can’t wait to visit again!
