Books-A-Million

My most favorite story of abilene, and my most fatal visit to my pocket. There are always great deals on new releases but my favorite are the well stocked classics. The Greek mythology classics, Shakespeare, book marks( oh so fancy these days), kids educational biographies for homeschooling. A whole new section called who was I. Great work guys.

It's setting is in an old theater. Which has a lot of history. There's the lady there that knows the exact and every bit of the history of that building! It's more than just a bookstore! You got to go here the back story.

The staff are amazing and make it feel like visiting family every time we come in. The suggestions we receive when talking about books are all amazing suggestions. The café has great drinks and we utilize the rewards program for most of our book purchases.

Went to the store to pick up some books that typically stocked at my local B&N and the worker checking me out was extremely rude. While checking me out at the counter the worker (appeared to be a she but had a male haircut with many lgbtq pins on her lgbtq lanyard) kept pushing me to by the membership. Mind you I pay for the B&N membership because it is close to where I live and go there often. I told the worker 3times I wasn’t interested in the 4th time I told her that I don’t go to BAM often and have no need for it. She proceeded to tell me that I could just order online. Poor customer service and couldn’t take no for an answer even told me I was dumb for not buying the membership. After all of this she refused to provide me with a bag to carry my items. Will never be going back to this BAM ever again.

Palace of Books and more ! So many books, magazines, toys, and more to choose for entertainment education and gifts. Hello Kitty and Grogu and tons more. Adore this place ! I will always support you BAM 💥

This is my absolute favorite place to buy books in Abilene. Then again it is the only place to buy books. They do keep a great selection of everything and I mean everything. They have books on Witchcraft, Tarot, Palmistry, and right behind it is Christianity haha! Theres even have a current holiday section that they put up! Then there's the normal adult, teen and children sections, which are always highly stocked with the newest and best. They have all kinds of Manga! I MEAN ALL KINDS! They have all your craft books and cooking, all auto and woodworking, if you have something you're interested and they don't have it, I would be genuinely surprised! If you need something the staff is incredibly helpful at all times and so much to interact with! I LOVE THIS STORE! I could get lost in it for hours, and often do!

Amazing place for buying gifts. Its on my list for annual Christmas shopping. Lots of deals and oddities for alternative people.
