⚠️ WARNING: Upgraded my Groupon microdermabrasion → ended up with a lasting scar! 💔 One-Star Rating Reason: Treatment caused a scar and cold sore, offered minimal improvement, and the provider refused to acknowledge the damage. Unsafe, negligent, and disappointing. 📌 Full Experience: • 💉 Booked Groupon for microdermabrasion; Luu convinced me to upgrade to microneedling, calling it the "best & cheapest non-surgical treatment." • 😔 I trusted her, but she injured my lip & chin, leaving a visible scar still there 7 months later. • 🎥 She records every session, and during one treatment, she got distracted & repeatedly needled the same spot. • ⚡ It hurt badly, turned black, and caused a cold sore, keeping me off work 2 weeks. • ❌ When I spoke up, she brushed me off: "Honey, how many times do I have to apologize?" Claimed she couldn’t see any damage. • 🔹 After 5 sessions, there was minimal improvement, and the no-refund policy left me stuck. 💡 Final Thought: Honestly, I wish I’d stayed with my original Groupon treatment. This experience was unsafe, negligent, and disappointing. EDIT: Microneedle "hammering" and repeated application on the same spot is an aggressive and improper technique that can cause significant skin trauma, including severe bruising (black bruising) and a cold sore flare-up. THIS IS WHAT YOU DID TO ME AND YOU KNOW IT. You even told me you were insured if I wanted to sue you — I chose not to go that route, but after speaking with other estheticians about my experience, I felt it was important to share what happened so future clients can make their own informed decisions. Trying to make me out to be dishonest is deeply disappointing and unprofessional. When I tried to discuss the damage you caused, your responses were, "Honey, how many times I have to apologise to you?" and "Honey, stop arguing with me." Those words confirmed to me that you were aware of what had happened but unwilling to truly take accountability. Many people saw the visible bruising and skin trauma you caused — this is not made up. After posting my review, Luu continued to message me privately despite my clear requests for her to stop. The repeated messages became harassing and uncomfortable. I eventually had to send a final message before blocking her number entirely. Another issue was being pressured into booking an appointment I didn’t want. I clearly said no, but you insisted and wouldn’t let me leave until I agreed. I later had to make up an excuse to cancel because you wouldn’t respect my decision — and I never received a reply, which said a lot. Also, a former client of yours shared that she stopped going to you because your repeated memory lapses made her feel unsafe. I completely understand why — during my own sessions, you would ask the same questions and tell the same stories each time. When clients trust someone with their face, these things matter and can be alarming. This review isn’t written out of malice — it’s written because what happened was real. I wish this experience had been different, but people deserve honesty and transparency before putting their trust, time, money, and skin in someone’s hands.

Absolutely thrilled with my hydro facial experience! From start to finish, it was a truly relaxing and refreshing treatment. Luu was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining each step and ensuring my comfort throughout the process. My skin felt instantly hydrated, smoother, and had an undeniable glow right after the session. The gentle exfoliation and deep cleansing made a noticeable difference, clearing out impurities without any irritation. I also appreciated how non-invasive and painless the entire treatment was. I have been coming to Luu for five months now. She has completely changed my skin! I struggled with adult acne for years and she has completely solved it. My skin is clear and glowing all of the time now. I have referred my sister to her and all my girlfriends hear her praises. She is also the kindest and most entertaining person to spend time with. I've been coming to Luu for 5 years for her package of peel, microdermabrasion, hydrafacial, microcurrent lift, and LED light treatment. My skin feels and looks so good (bright and tight) for weeks after treatment, and stays nice with upkeep and only a few visits a year. Her services are affordable, her space and equipment is clean, and to top it off she is such a sweetheart! Come to Luu and love your skin 🙂

Luu is incredible! From start to finish she was so amazing. She explained in detail every step and process she was doing, and educated me on what she had to offer and what my skin needed. This was my 1st time adding a microcurrent lift to my hydrafacial and I will never be without it again! No discomfort with amazing results after just one session. I left with a more contoured face, jawline, and everything looked beautifully sculpted and lifted. Even my eyebrows! Luu really took so much care on my skin. In 2.5hrs we did -Peel -Microdermabrasion -Microcurrent Lift -Hydrafacial -Finished with LED light therapy I honestly couldn't be happier with how my skin looked and felt leaving her Suite. She offers packages and microneedling which I will be coming back for in a few weeks. Very competently priced and you get sooooo much for the price point. Especially when this lift gives me "filler" vibes without the filler. PARKING notes- Park in the underground parking structure for Salon Republic (With Validation for $2).
