Strands Salon And Spa

I came in for the first time ever to this salon as they had great reviews regarding service. I had originally had an appt with another salon but due to COVID they had to cancel. I came in for a balayage with a vivid color. Unfortunately after 3hrs in the salon I left with highlights instead. I felt as though the stylist was rushing to finish as I was her last client. Needless to say I am not too happy about the outcome of my hair. The color is uneven and you can still notice a few spots of blonde. I spent $130 for something I didn’t ask for. Now I’m having to go somewhere else to fix what someone else did. I will NOT be back. The pictures below are the highlights I received vs the last picture of what I wanted.

I called Strands after I had an appointment with another salon got cancelled. I'm going to my son's basic training graduation next week, so I needed my hair done immediately. I saw Ashley for highlights and a hair cut. She was awesome. Her consultation was very in depth which was great because I was new to her. She took her time at every step to make sure I got what I wanted. She was very knowledgeable about products that would work for my hair. To make things even better, the cost for services, tip, and two products was less than what the color would have been at the other salon. Great experience!

This was my first visit to Strands today. Ashley was amazing! She took her time to understand what color and style I wanted to achieve, and she nailed it. She was super knowledgeable about the products that would work best for my hair texture. I am greatly pleased with my experience. Excellent pricing, too!

Steve did such a wonderful job on my hair. I am SO happy with the results... especially considering that I had no idea what I wanted. I can't wait to come back for some color. Robin did a great job on my brows as well. The entire staff was friendly and the place had a nice vibe. This is my place. Definitely recommend.

I just wanted to share my experience I had today. It was wonderful! I see Robin For all my waxing needs and she is just so amazing, and makes you feel so comfortable. On a whim I wanted to get my hair done today and I was seen by Matthew. I just want to say it was incredible. From the moment I sat in his chair I got good vibes and he gave my severely dry hair some love and a confidence boost today. In todays society it’s so easy to be hard ourselves and I left the salon today feeling worthy plus looking great. 10/10 recommend the salon/spa and it’s just really nice to treat yourself.

I visited Strands Salon and Spa on 29 March 2023. I hadn’t cut my 3ft-long hair in the span of seven years and was terrified of entering a hair salon after a bad haircut experience in 2016. When I inquired of the possibility of being booked at the spot, Steve, the owner, was kind enough to put me in their busy schedule right then and there. Nathan, my hairstylist, let me choose the length where I wanted the very dead and split-ended ends of my hair to be cut; we ended up cutting about 8-10 inches off. I received some shaping and layering, as well. Ultimately, I received great service and am very happy with my new length; now, thanks to Strands Salon and Spa, it takes me less than 5 minutes to brush my hair all the way through compared to 30-45 minutes every morning and evening. I feel confident in putting my trust in this salon, and that’s saying a lot about the excellent quality of the salon and the talent of the stylists for a girl who was so scared of entering a hair salon and cutting her hair for seven whole years. Thank you to everyone at the salon, and I greatly appreciate everyone’s service, and most importantly, their talent in hair-cutting.
