This review is way overdue as I’ve been coming here on and off for almost two years! Every time I walk out of this place, my nails are exquisite. Jeannette is a true artist and expert at her craft! I can tell she really loves what she does as well because she is always looking at new designs! I love that I can just show her what I want and she nails it every time! She did my nails before I got engaged and for my engagement photos! The salon is no frills, so don’t expect luxury, but everyone is so friendly and welcoming, you can tell they are a family. I went in as a walk-in after looking at Google review pics for many places and picking this salon for their nail art & for the best ‘shaped’ tips. I had a design picked out, and though the salon was packed when I arrived, it wasn’t long before I was offered a seat and soon a tech came to get me started. There are not enough words to express how amazing, careful, sweet and attentive Solly was the entire time she did my set. Start to finish she was beautifully meticulous AND replicated my design photo PERFECTLY. I will certainly be booking my future appointments with her. She took her time, slowed down for details, and made sure every nail was perfect before moving on to the next step/layer. I am very impressed. Even at my former nail salon (out of state) I don’t think I’ve ever been in more talented and technically skilled hands than with Solly. As a bonus, the salon serves your choice glass of red or white wine. Absolutely will be back at MYE for all my future events. (Nail art reference picture included last in my photos)

I have been coming to Lily for YEARS! Ever since I was in high school! And every time she has gotten me right! I’ll show her a picture and she will replicate and tell me what shape best fits my fingers. And she moves quick so 10/10

Jeanette is hands down the best nail tech I’ve met since I moved to the DMV area! If you want what you ask for with attention to detail in your designs, GO SEE HER! ☺️

This is my two week review. Nails officially are done. I posted a review from my other account but this calls for more attention. I’ve been to a place before where I know they don’t remember me but I’ve never had an issue with my polish coming off two days after (when I actually went back and was treated like crap yelled at and then left by myself at a table over half a hour after my polish was removed)…. A week after and then the 4th and 5th nails two weeks after. Whenever I do get my nails painted I actually always have them on till my gel grows off my full nail or half way honestly. Smh it goes to show the lack of respect this place has for new customers. I didn’t even get extensions and paid 120 and tipped why are my nails completely done? Cause they stuck me with someone (unless they all do this to people to save polish) which may have been new there and didn’t clearly put enough coats on. These are my bare nails so I get them painted now to retain the growth but when the polish falls off eventually because of the lack of gel compared to the rest of the nail; my real nails break and chip. I’m going to have to officially go back to pg nails I tried to find a permanent place that could do designs they disrespected me I can’t go back. Oh and the chrome over the black from day two already was disappearing from my gold designs on all other 5 nails from just washing my hands.

Came here since I was looking for a place that does builder gel. I saw Jeanette first, and they lasted at least 3 weeks with no issue. I’m sure they would have lasted longer but I didn’t want them do grown out. I got my nails refreshed with Cherry for a summery chrome look. This place is fairly no frills, and I’ve found there can be a wait even with an appointment, but prices are fair and quality is good!
